This battle can be over within seconds. Load up on painkillers and hypostims, run up tp him quickly and use the fully upgraded Typhoon twice. On normal difficulty, he goes down. On hard mode, it might require one more Typhoon use. As Typhoon makes you invincible, this should be no problem provided you have the ammo.
Just don't try to use a takedown on him. Really.

The best way if you dont have typhoon is to run around the outside, he tends to go in the middle so fire at him, when he throws his grenades charge in close and wail on him, took three cycles with a maxed out heavy rifle on dx mode to take him out. Also make sure to not get the upgrade chip, you will lose *all* of your augments if you do.

Another option (if you happen to have the Grenade launcher), just shoot him a few times and he drops, alternatively use a rocket launcher on him.

If you didn't get the new biochip, the absolute easiest way is to use a takedown on him. Really. If you hold down or mash the takedown button as he's jumping over a wall, you will do a functional takedown on him. It can even be a non-lethal one. He'll still die from a punch to the face, though.

This fight was SO much easier then the second boss fight. Admittedly, I had a lot more augmentations, but since they don't mean shit in this fight (if you upgraded the biochip) I was expecting a really hard battle.
Just used a machine pistol with the tracer rounds. Hid round corners and emptied clips. Actually quite disappointed to be honest.

Just beat this fool on DX difficulty with the new chip and no Augs. Unloaded 500 rounds of laser rifle, 100 combat rifle rounds, and about 20 upgraded revolver rounds. As a tip you can save during the fight. So pummel save pummel save. What a pain in the ass without Augs.

I was on a pacifist stealth guide on dx difficulty, got the new chip, because I thought yai for me(actually I didn't think of it, I just wanted the stuff for reward...what nothing? But why?). So all my strategy was cloak and avoid everything...Worked with the second boss...And so it came that...he punched me in the balls...a lot. He onehittet me with his plasma rifle. I tried it for an hour...Then I reloaded the whole part after the construction site to avoid the chip and augmented my armor and the grenade immunity and...revenge is a bitch! But I'm really disappointed from the bosses...Not because the missing option, because of their general system. Come in, learn the pattern, (die), in his face. What happens to you if you take the chip and beat him? I mean with this whole signal thing?

Step 1: Throw EMP Grenade.
Step 2: Fire Grenade Launcher.
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit.

some advice, i beat him with the chip in no time. Get tracer rounds for the combat rife and the machine pistol and your golden. It probably took me 2 combat rife clips and 3 machine pistol clips and i was playing on the hardest difficulty. Just camp the outside cause he rarely leaves the middle and just always blindfire, the tracer rounds will do the rest

i got the new biochip and now i can not use any of my augs. i have 295 shots for the heavy rifle, 591 laser shots, 49 machine pistol bullets, 15 sniper bullets, 19 tranqualizer darts, a auto hack device, a frag grenade and 1 EMP grenade and i still can not beat him.
if any one knows how to beat him let me know please.

If you haven't got your chip and your Aug-less back track down the lift before the fight till your outside again, avoid the cam and robot and round the corners a turret, grab it and carry it all the way back 2 the lift. Finally head back 2 the console where the turret was and hack it and enable the turret to attack enemies then your set. Head back to the lift, at the top save! Walk out holding the turret facing slightly right, skip the cutscene and leg it 2 the turret and hug the wall directly back from it..job done the turret will do the rest for you..namir may take some encouraging to appear so I found a grenade lobbed in the far corner in front of the turret. Hope this helps some one

alright everyone i was stuck on this for awhile cause i got the new biochip
as well without knowing the consequences of doing so... so from my experience
with this fight here is the true EASIEST way, at least what i found to be
req - 1 frag grenade, fully upgraded shotgun 12 rounds plus burst system.
step 1 - throw frag grenade as it will harm AND disorient him more than
an emp or gas grenade (since you cant use augs to protect yourself
step 2 - run up activate burst system on shot gun by holding x button
fire 6 times and waste all 12 rounds into his head
step 3 - watch cutscene...

I tried using the stun gun on him (the previous bosses all died with nothing more than ten or so stun gun shots) and you can indeed kill him purely with stuns. He reacts faster than the first two bosses in that he often recovers and starts firing his weapon just before you manage to finish reloading the stun gun. If you strafe around him so that he's facing a different direction, he usually doesn't even get a shot off before you hit him again. It took less than fifteen shots and I used around three or so painkillers (for those rare times when he actually hit me). It's insanely easy compared to actually fighting him... just like the previous bosses. I don't know why more people haven't commented on trying it.

Carry the turret from the main courtyard with you to the elevator.
Pick it up and carefully stick it out the elevator and drop it before you physically cross the threshold. Cut scene plays...sprint back around to the elevator and just wait for him to come over near turret.
Beat him on hardest difficulty w/o even firing a shot. Turret basically engages and roots him in place and slaughters him for you.

I got that stupid chip, and was having my ass handed to me. I am mainly stealth but the laser rifle wasn't doing anything. What ended up working was I lobbed 5 remote detonated grenades at his bitch ass and shot him with one crossbow bolt and he went down on normal. Really easy.

Did this fight easily with the chip. The revolver with the explosive ammo attachment wrecks this guy, and pretty much anything else technically. Lob an EMP grenade at him,and just fire away, chugging painkillers when the screen starts to go red. The area of effect from the modified revolver wrecks his stealth, same way I beat the second boss girl quickly.

This was easy for me, it took 10 seconds or less (I played on Normal).
1 frag grenade and a few shots from my revolver...and that was it, he didn´t hit me at all!

Ok if like me you took the upgraded biochip and also wanted pacafist so didn't really stock up much on ammo, and also don't have the typhoon and playing on "give me deus ex" then the easiest way I found after one or two tries was to use as many frag and emp mines as pos. And run the full circle of the outer wall and when passing the opening throw one against the back wall. When you have two each end keep running till one gets tagged then replace it rince and repeat and your set

Once again even if you did get the biochip, he can still be beaten easily using the typhoon aug which you can use (even though for some reason it wouldn't let me use for about the first 20 seconds of the battle even though I know it was charged). Anyway, this will stun him and you are free to unload on him just like the other bosses.

If you have enough points in the hacking upgrade you can get a little help for
this boss by hacking a turret earlier on in the mission and brining it with you.
The cut scene doesnt start until like your 2nd step out of the elevator so if you
bring it with you and drop it just after your first set it can help you in your
fight, which i found especially helpful seeing as I was affected by the new
biochip :(. Just keep running around and shooting at him and try keep most of the
action near the turret for backup. Also if you get low on life (not that the life
meter at this point is accurate if affected by the new chip) you can run around
the outside and gain plenty of distance to regain lost life. Plus as Weazel IV
said earlier you can keep saving when you get some distance and kee

@14 (Ragnarok9415): You're a legend! I totally loved the shotgun during
GTA-ing the game (I went for 1000G on my first playthrough, so when things
got heated and I was about to lose Foxiest or Pacifist, I kicked some ass,
usually died, then loaded my last "stealth" save and tried again) and had
a feeling that I may need it for this particular boss! So, I had maxed out
the damage (all bars!), had burst installed and activated it and when I
tried it, he was down after the third blow! 3 shots!!!

Finally after 7 tries, as soon as it started I moved right and hid behind the wall, and I use 5 remote mines 2 gas grenades and a rocket launcher.
The hard part is, everyone is suggesting what they did etc (even me) but only then you can use what you have available.
Lesson learned when I do this on Legend.

ok, so I've been playing super stealthy on GMDX difficulty. I got the implant, against my better judgement, and it made this boss really hard with no augments. I went back and got the turret, but then realized that it is an aug that lets me move it around, and I can't use augs once the cutscene happens. This worked for me. I set up the turret from inside the elevator to point a little to the right of center. I started with a heavy rifle (thank god I had picked one up, with lots of ammo) and died around 30 times. but one time 31, I shot him, and started running around the edges, taking cover every so often and shooting him, trying to get him into the turret range. If he threw a grenade (gas and concussion with no augs to counter) I would just start booking around the edges again. Fi

It would have been nice if the Achievement Guide mentioned not getting the BIOCHIP. I'm having a hard time beating him, and if I had known that one arbitrary decision was the difference between over in seconds/play, die, reload x20, then I wouldn't have taken the chip.
Can someone at least change the guide to make note of this, so that future players don't fall for it?

I was also wondering, it says that you can't use any augmentations, so does that include the skin armor augments? If so, I understand why from a coding perspective, but it isn't really logical. If your character is an up-armored detective, that chip shouldn't turn the dermal plating into mush, but the developers might have been lazy in this respect.
