 | Comment #2 by Alexbeav Monday, August 22, 2011 @ 04:15:41 AM Fully upgrade does not mean that you just need the 3 upgrades a weapon can get i.e. silencer, laser sight etc. You also need to fully upgrade it's damage, capacity, reload speed etc. |

Under 5 upgrades needed I believe. Even if you don't have it, there are enough upgrades in the game to get you by. |

Already sold the rocket launcher, took up too many spots in the inventory, and I'm trying to go passive, though I did get the pre-order weapons and don't have the heart to drop them. Every upgrade I've gotten so far has only worked with the silenced sniper rifle though, so I'll keep pumping them into it, but will also start purchasing the shotty upgrades now too. I don't currently seem to have any shortage of money since I keep running back and forth to gun dealers to sell weapons whenever I can.... |

I have a large amount of upgrades on the 10mm and have not got this yet. I have every upgrade listed in the deus ex wikia including several for ammo capacity ( capping me a 22 rounds per magazine). So, I am stuck don't know what else I can put on this thing or where to find more upgrades. I have purchased from every vendor and hunted every upgrade in random spots, plus received some from quests'. Can you even get this achievement with the 10mm??? |
| Comment #12 by Liek50Ninjas Sunday, August 28, 2011 @ 08:21:37 PM The 10mm pistol needs four of each rate of fire, reload speed, damage output, and ammo capacity upgrades, plus a laser sight, a silencer, and the armor piercing barrel, so 19 upgrades total. |

I just wanted to add when i got this. it was - m1-confronting eliza cassan - get inside room 802-11. in the left locker of two lockers. the room is connected to another by a vent shaft. a green motion sensor and an armored soldier are there. it is the bottom floor. i up graded my tranq first and if it couldn't use the upgrade i put it on another weapon. i hope i can help some ppl out a little if you are doing the same weapon upgrade as me. |

If you want to get this achievement, make sure you have a lethal weapon you don't mind giving away when you're in Hengsha the first time. He'll reward you later. |

I figured I'd be using my shotty on bosses, but it kinda sucks to be honest. My last boss fight, the Picus sub-basement bitch, I ran in a circle til I spotted her Predator style shimmy of invisibility and set off a maxed out Typhoon, then when I had control again, one shot from my revolver and that was that..... it felt pretty cool. |

Dropped a half upgraded rifle in need of inv-space, thinking the next rifle I'd pick up have the same upgrades.... Well, it didn't. You need the Armor Piercing Upgrade, Silencer, Laser Targeting, 4 damage, 4 reload, 4 rate of fire and 4 ammo capacity. I personally think this is a good one to have around if you're taking a lethal approach, it's a very good weapon to have on hand at all times. Especially with the main 3 upgrades on it. |

I used the pistol and I upgraded it every chance I got. I made three weapon enhancements (Silencer, Laser Targeting System, and the Armor-Piercing System). From there I upgraded my pistol every chance I got with the gray boxes (Rate of Fire, Reload Speed, Damage Output, and Ammo Capacity.) I assumed the goal was to max out all ten bars for each category. This doesn't seem to be the case, because many of the boxes I found would not let me apply them to my pistol any longer. So, I assumed I had chosen a bad gun for this achievement. However, this one popped for me towards the end of my second stint in China. My gun's final tally: Rate of fire 8/10, Reload Speed 9/10, D |
