Introduction:
Welcome to Deca Sports Freedom, courtesy of Hudson! This game has appeared on the Wii as just Deca Sports. There are many modes throughout such as Tournament Mode, Versus Mode, Open Match, etc. There is also 10 games. The game library includes: Tennis, Boxing, Archery, Paintball, Beach Volleyball, Ddgeball, Kendo, Mogul Skiing, Snowboard Cross and Figure Skating.

Breakdown:
Deca Sports Freedom is a very good game, and doesn't require too much hard work. The list of achievements shouldn't strike anyone as difficult, unless you don't have an ounce of athleticism in your body. You won't break a sweat in any particular game, (Boxing may tire your arm, Mogul skiing and snowboarding could could tire your legs) but overall, the games are very simple. Also for an easy 150, just play the 10 sports alone, and then the 10 sports together. It's easy and fun!

Offline:
There are 37 offline achievements, which total to 960. I first suggest reading all rules and tutorials before you play any game, as doing so will vastly improve your performance. That will net your two achievements, Warm-up Master and Perfect Preparation. Then you should click single or multiplayer, and then choose tournament mode, better known as in the achievement descriptions, Cups. There are three different cups, Local, National, Global, Ultimate, in order from least hardest to hardest. You shouldn't have any problem beating any sport in the Local Cup, along with the National. Global and Ultimate will get considerably harder. What I suggest to do is to find one sport that you are good at, and play all the cups on that difficultly. Once I got to the Global Cup, I played only paintball because it was the best sport I played in. I ended up winning the Ultimate Cup only playing Paintball.

The next mode is League Mode. In League mode, you play a certain amount of sports that the CPU chooses, and you battle 3 other teams to see who can earn the most points. This one is a step up from cup mode because you can't choose the sport to play. You will get 100 upon completing the Ultimate League.

Online:
There are only three online achievements in the game. Competition Host requires you to send an invite to someone while playing online. After they have accepted and joined the game, the achievement will unlock. Friendly Player requires you to play a regular Player match Win or Lose, the achievement will unlock after the game is completed. Serious Competitor requires you to participate in an Online Ranked Match. Win or Lose, the achievement will unlock after the game is completed.

Misc/Clean Up:
There are then some game based achievements. Those (for the most part) are easy, just load up single player and do single or multiplayer matches of the sport specific of your choice. There are about 20 of these achievements to clean up, and only 2-5 are hard.

Conclusion:
Enjoy this game: It is fun, relatively easy, and you are now on your way to a full 1000!

There are 40 achievements with a total of 1000 points

  • Win the Local League!

    Refer to Won Ultimate League.

  • Win the National League!

    Refer to Won Ultimate League.

  • Win the Global League!

    Refer to Won Ultimate League.

  • Win the Ultimate League!

Basically there are four types of Cups (Tourneys) and leagues: Local, National, Global and Ultimate. Each league you win will net you more Gamerscore. For the cups, as I said in the road map, pick a sport that you are really great at. For me it was paintball, so I played paintball through the harder cups.

The leagues are the same concept, but will take a bit more skill and effort because you can't choose the sport.

  • Win the Local Cup!

    Refer to Won Ultimate League.

  • Win the National Cup!

    Refer to Won Ultimate League.

  • Win the Global Cup!

    Refer to Won Ultimate League.

  • Win the Ultimate Cup!

    Refer to Won Ultimate League.

  • Play to the end even without coming in first in the league!

This is very simple. Just play through any of the leagues and don't win.

  • Let's win 10 VS Matches while in Single-Player mode!

Go into VS mode in single player and choose play to play first to 10 wins. This is a great oppurtunity to go after some of the sport based achievements as well, so keep those in mind.

  • View all the tutorials!

You can view the tutorials before you play a game. You can also go into the locker room and choose tutorials, then view them. View them all and the achievement is yours.

  • Read all the rules!

Read all the rules before you play any game. Read all the rules for 10 sports and it will unlock.

  • Create your own custom team!

Go into locker room, and create your team. You can customize it from color to name, and when you're done the achievement will pop.

  • Compete in a Player match!

Go to Xbox Live, and compete in a player match.

  • Compete in a Ranked match!

Go to Xbox Live, and compete in a ranked match.

  • Recruit an opponent in Host Match!

Send an invite to someone who has Xbox Live. Once they join, you get the achievement.

  • Watch all of the credits!

Go to Locker Room, then Credits. Let it sit. You do no have to be in the room while they are running. It should take about 2 - 5 minutes.

  • Play using your own avatar!

    (1)

To do this just hover over your team on the screen showing the next events info and change P1 to your avatar.

  • Play all sets in deuce status in a three-set tennis match!

Go to open match and set the settings at 3 sets. Simply let all the matches go to deuce, which would be a score of 40 to 40. It doesn't matter if you win, but all matches must be played to deuce. An additional hint is to play on easy and let the CPU catch up once it is 40 - 0.

Here's a video for further assistance:

  • Play all sets in deuce status in a three-set, 21-point beach volleyball match!

Same as tennis. The scored needs to be tied at around 19 - 19. Then score twice and you will win. Relatively easy, but a bit time consuming because it has to be a three-set volleyball match.

Here's a video for further assistance:

  • Win all points from 1 to 10 in an archery match!

This one is very tricky. Hit all 10 numbers on the target in any order. The achievement description is deceptive because it should say, "Hit all points from 1 to 10 in an archery match!" It has nothing to do with winning. You don't even have to finish the match, it registers when you hit your last number.

Here's a video for further assistance:

  • Win a kendo match with a single strike!

Not many people know what Kendo is. It's the japanese art of sword fighting using swords made of split bambo.  You need to whack your opponent in the head hard for the match to end. I suggest trying for a cutthroat chop, or straight down on your opponent to make this very easy.

  • Ski down the run within 26 seconds in mogul skiing!

This one will be hard for most people. The ski slope has three sets of bumps, and two jumps. The bumps are the key. You need to ski right along with them. Many times I got 26 + seconds, but I managed to get 25.96 seconds and this one popped. This one will get you tired unless you know how to ski in real life.

  • Do not fall even once in figure skating!

The key to this is a lot of practice. At the end, there will be a three moves combo, and that's the hardest part. Make sure you hit each of the combos that come at you and it shouldn't be too hard.

  • Win after a dodge ball match is down to one player on each team!

This is pretty straightforward. Just let the game get down to one on one and then win it.

  • Cross the finish line without ever slowing down in snowboard cross!

Play on the beginner course and this is easy. You need to hit every jump, and bend your knee toward the TV to collect speed. Tilting your body around corners back and forth is the key.

Here's a video for further assistance:

  • Survive a paintball match without ever getting hit!

The easiest way to do this is to just hide until the end of the match. Stay in cover until the end and it'll be a breeze.

  • Deliver 100 punches in a single match!

Keep hitting your opponent. Typically three knockdowns result in a KO, so after two knockdowns don't get the bar into red. This one is relatively easy. I recommend playing on any difficulty harder than easy as that will give you an opportunity to punch more.

  • Play a perfect game in Single-Player Tennis!

To get this, you have to win a game of Tennis without ever letting the opponent score. Play on easy and you should be OK. Hit the ball as early as you can for a shot that has better affect and makes the achievement easier.

  • Play a perfect game in Single-Player Beach Volleyball!

This is the same as Tennis Master, but with Volleyball. Again, if you play on easy this will be a breeze.

  • Hit all the gold targets in Single-Player Archery.

In single player archery, there will be gold targets to hit. Strike all of them with your bow and the achievement is yours. This may take a little bit of practice, but it's not too hard.

  • Play a perfect match in Single-Player Kendo by never getting hit by your opponent!

Just play on easy and cautiously and this is a guaranteed achievement. Don't make any risky moves and take your time.

  • Perform EXCELLENT jumps twice for a total score of over 190 in Single-Player Mogul Skiing!

All you need to do is get EXCELLENT on your jump scores, and they have to total in score over 190. It's not too hard, just get the jumps down pat. This will take practice. Also, try and jump off on the middle of the jump as it will result in a better effect on your score.

  • Get a GOOD or better rating in any program and score over 180 in Single-Player Figure Skating!

A good is not that hard to attain. Style points are a necessity while skating. 180 should come with ease, and like a lot of the achievements, practice is paramount.

  • Play a perfect game in Single-Player Dodge Ball!

You have to win a game of Dodgeball without getting hit. It's not difficult at all, just play on easy, try to perfect your lateral movements, and don't make any risky moves.

Here's a video for further assistance:

  • Cross the Advanced course's finish line in 2'20" or less in Single-Player Snowboard Cross!

This is not as difficult as it seems. Try to hit every jump from the get go. Increase speed as much as possible. Once you've memorized the course layout, this will be a breeze.

  • Beat your opponent by 20 points or more in Single-Player Paintball (Elimination rules)!

Paintball is one of the easier sports in the game, so this is especially easy. Just play the Local or National Cup and you should be able to win games by 40 or 50. Just make sure to play the elimination game type, as specified in the description.

  • Knock out your opponent in 3 rounds or less in Single-Player Boxing!

If you play on easy, you can do this in one round without struggling. Jab fast low, and when he goes up and blocks, punch his stomach. Repeat, and when he goes down for the third time the achievement will pop.

  • Play all 10 sports by yourself using Kinect!

All you have to do is play the ten sports in the game. You can do this in any mode, but you have to do it by yourself for the achievement. The sports are: tennis, boxing, archery, paintball, beach volleyball, dodgeball, kendo, mogul skiing, snowboard cross and figure skating.

  • Play all 10 sports with another player using Kinect!

This is the same as Decathlete, but you have to have a second player. So grab a buddy and just play a round of everything. The ten sports are: tennis, boxing, archery, paintball, beach volleyball, dodgeball, kendo, mogul skiing, snowboard cross and figure skating.
