	Comment #12 by DoomSage Saturday, February 09, 2013 @ 08:54:12 PM Just did it on impossible, fairly easy, found that you can't restart check point after 50% for it, can restart at the very beginning but after 50% you need to save/quit and continue from last save to start over. (also need to wait for dialogue exchange to finish, at least I had to)

	Comment #13 by darkmikasonfire Sunday, February 10, 2013 @ 12:56:20 AM I'm in the same boat as #10, I followed a guide for it, you freeze the drill and let the enemies get killed by it, I destroyed it instantly in the last wave, and none of the enemies even got half way to me the whole time, I beat the rest of the level (again I've watched a few walkthroughs I know where it should have popped). This achievement is a tad glitchy, do the USB save glitch, keep a backup right out side the thing and make a copy onto a USB anytime it doesn't pop just save quit go to dash and copy the USB save back into the HDD. It has to pop on one of the play throughs, this just simply makes it to were you don't end up playing the whole level 50 times.

Then started my Classic mode got up to the drill tried it a few times with saving and quieting got killed by the drill on the third wave restarted on the third wave killed the drill didn't get hit by anything and got the achiv. My friend did it on his, but he saved and quit he didn't keep resetting the checkpoint and he got it no problem, so maybe try that idk it's just messed up.

	Comment #16 by bblue2344 Tuesday, February 12, 2013 @ 01:47:23 AM same problem here. dont think it has anything to do with not restarting chckpoint 50% through like #12 said because i got hit in first wave and restarted the checkpoint u get after letting the gates down, finished the drill sequence and couldnt heal myself (had full health) and walked all the way to Ellie and still didnt pop. i also did it on easy and normal. im gonna try the save and quit thing.

Took damage in first wave, hit save and quit, then continue from last save and it loaded me right after exiting the rotating air lock door into the drill room. I think the problem we were all having is that you cant get the achievement after loading a checkpoint, even if you did not take damage before the checkpoint. this has been the case with previous achievements. so the achievement actually starts when entering the drill room. That makes sense because the achievement didnt pop for me until entering the air lock that takes you out and in the description it says "complete the drill 'ROOM' without taking damage." If you are having trouble after first checkpoint (second wave) or further, i would recommend the save slot copy

Not only do you need to do the drill sequence from its beginning to end without getting hit (hit save and quit if you mess up, then re-load save point; DON'T use checkpoint restart), but you CANNOT press the quick heal button as well (even if you are at full health). The achievement unlocks once you exit the drill area through the next door. Hope this helps!

For people having trouble with the left vent: Allow the drill to come out more so it covers both middle and right vent then concentate on the left grill.

	Comment #25 by allusiveturtle Thursday, February 14, 2013 @ 12:26:32 PM Sorry to say that you need to ignore the comment from Whitesoxboi as you cannot get hit by anything, not the drill and not the necromorphs. Also, if you stand to the right of the drill, you can shoot at the nechromorphs that come out of the left vent, and the drill (which you need to keep in stasis throughout) will kill all the nechromorphs that exit the right hand vent (which you should position so that the drill sits between you and the vent). Finally, you need to move to the far side of the areana for the third drill sequence and as soon as you see the fuse within the drill, stasis the drill and shoot it as this will clear all the enemies immediately from the area. The Achievement will pop when you enter the rotating air-lock/lift type thing.

	Comment #26 by Jigglypufftouff Friday, February 15, 2013 @ 12:01:12 PM This is bugged for just like many other achievements for ds3 fodder axes, head shots and limbs, I've done with correctly 10 times co-op not a scratch on us, walked out of the room waited for a minute nothing, even checked for quick heal. Still says full hp I've also done other solo on Ed with devil horns and again not a single scratch on me, can kill the drill in under 30 secs, still no achievement pop. No quick heal, no damage, they actually don't even get a foot out of the vents before they die and yet still no achievement , makes me sick

What I did was start the drill sequence, get hit by a necro, then save and quit. Then continue from last save and complete it without taking any damage, walk up to the door, and you should get it. Also, try to refrain from pressing the heal button, I've heard that if you press it even when with full health, it will not give you the achievement.

	Comment #28 by Eleriel Saturday, February 16, 2013 @ 12:33:44 PM I think I may have figured out why I couldn't get this for the longest time... what I did differently the time I got the achievement was I used a medpack in the area before entering the room with the drill (on the hunch that maybe using a medpack in the room, or getting hurt or just BEING hurt (from a previous area) would void the achievement). but, I was also hurt during the last phase of the encounter, and had to reset checkpoint... still got it though. this achievement is way too buggy, and I'm really glad I don't have to go through that again...

Entered the final area with full health, sold all health packs just to be safe, never healed during the fight, never got touched... Still no achievo after 5+ tries. The solution several people have posted (see comment #27 above) will allow the people affected by this strange glitch to get the achievement, though. Tried it again after intentionally getting hit and presto!

It restarted at the third wave and I took no damage in that 3rd wave and achievement popped as I walked in the door you could now get to.

Once the drill is destroyed and goes spiraling into the ice just stand there for a little bit and let Ellie talk. Once she is done talking start heading to the door to exit and "boop" it pops up.

	Comment #38 by Dru1984 Tuesday, February 26, 2013 @ 12:58:33 AM DO NOT HEAL URSELF ONCE U ENTER THE DRILL ROOM... PERIOD!!! Here's what I did, once I entered the drill room or section, start up the generator, heal urself completely, and use the bench. Put all your health packs in the safe, so that all that u have left in ur inventory are ammo and stasis. Now SAVE and QUIT, continue the game from last check point. That should put you exactly at the entrance into the drill room or section, only now you are fully healed with no reason to heal yourself. Start up the generator, enter the Frey, I found it useful to use the drill to kill whatever comes out the right vent. Lastly after its over, don't pick up any item, let Elle yap till the end and just simply walk to the door. BAM!

Step Two: Start the drill off as normal but when the first necromorphs appear let them hit you, once hit Save and Quit. Step Three: Load last save (this should put you back at the enterance to the Coring Platform (Drill Room) Step Four: Take the drill out without being hit or taking any damage etc. Step Five: Walk to the door leading out of the room, the Achievement/Trophy will pop. credit to CyborgOcelot

	Comment #49 by MrKilljoy187x Sunday, May 19, 2013 @ 05:00:12 AM I had trouble with this one, but got it finally got. I made two grenade launchers with 5 rounds each and safety guard on both. I was in normal difficulty, Didn't use medpacks at all or pick anything up, no damage. 1st round I switched between launchers killing everything near me. Reload launchers for 2nd round and did the same thing I did in 1st round. 3rd round right when the fuses show ran up to the drill, stasis the drill and popped two grenades in it quickly so the feeders didn't get me, cut scene, the feeders are gone. I waited for the lady to stop talking, then went to the door with out picking up anything and 30 G pop....
