You must first make the 7 new weapons before you make any other weapons in the game. 	Comment #13 by jokerz616 Monday, January 03, 2011 @ 06:04:23 AM I have done the achievement by deleting my previous save, starting a fresh run doing the weapons UP TO the Laser Gun, my co-op partner ToothlessZombie then passed me the Laser Sword after HE made it, and i joined that with my Lightning Gun to make the Laser Gun, and thus get the achievement, as i recall it took a few seconds for it to appear, but appear it did and i have the achievement :) Hope this helps you guys out there.

	Comment #15 by CORPSIE19 Tuesday, January 11, 2011 @ 05:20:12 AM hey guys. after trying this damn thing over and over i can finally confirm that the achievement will work when u start a new game from scratch,(level 40) and go build all seven of the new weapons, BUT!!!! make sure u dont skip any of the cutscenes where chuck is building the weapons. After the seventh one you should get the achievement :) I just did. Hope this helps :D

My problem was that I had to unlock the Laser Gun combo card by rescuing Survivor number 5, who is located in room X1 in the Living Quarters after completing Case Number 2. What you have to do is that you have to give him a Laser Sword (combined with a Flashlight + Gems) and an Electric Gun (combined with Blast Frequency + Electric Rod). He will then combine them for you, and you unlock the Laser Gun Combo card. I did every other new weapon combo, and I got the achievement. I hope this helps you guys out as it did for me.

	Comment #23 by Hoitech117 Monday, May 02, 2011 @ 07:56:50 AM this achievement is highly glitchy. made everything that's new multiple times and it did not unlock. however, it may be the case that u need to make all of them as both chuck and frank because the combo for the Reaper, Sterilizer and Zap 'n' Shine are greyed out when u r chuck and the other new weapons are greyed out when u r frank., but this is only a guess and probably is incorrect because me and my friend did what i just explained and he got it but i didn't.

I got the achievement instantly after putting the defib + med tray together. Give it a shot

Follow the walkthrough video and it takes less than 10 minutes. You start at level 40 so you don't have as many slots in your inventory but everything else is the same as the video.

	Comment #34 by KorgakGrimtooth Monday, September 19, 2011 @ 03:10:22 PM I completed this achievement on 9/10/2011 and can confirm that it wasn't glitched for me. 1. I didn't watch any cut scenes. 2. The order in adding items to the bench doesn't seem to matter. 3. I made a combination of the old (pre-Case West) and new (only in Case West items) before the achievement unlocked. The last item I constructed was the laser gun (which was also the first one I constructed), and this was what popped the achievement for me. As noted previously, make sure that you actually construct it yourself as the one that is given to you by Jerry Sampson does not count towards the achievement.

I deleted my save, started fresh and ONLY made the new combo weapons which are: Zap N Shine Lightning Gun Reaper Sterilizer Shocker Impact Blaster and FINALLY Laser Gun Just to be safe dont skip any cutscenes, besides why would oyu wanna skip the cutscenes? Awesome ass workbench theme and Seeing Chucks face at the end is worth the time.

I skipped all the videos of Chuck making something. You don't have to watch them. Anyone who suggests you do is retarded. I made several of the old weapons as well. They don't mess anything up. It does not have to be done in a single playthrough. All you have to do is make all 7 of the new weapons, including the Laser Gun (the one that Jerry makes for you does not count). For me, the last one was the electro-buffer. I thought I had made it before, but I guess I made it during a session where I didn't save.

I moved my save to the cloud, then started a new game off the hard drive. I followed the video, didn't make any other weapon combos, and didn'twatch the cut scenes in full. The cheevo unlocked. My suggestion is to just start a brand new save. Good luck! Only took about ten minutes.

For my 2nd playthrough I trie making all the combo items starting from the first one (Drill Bucket) and worked my way down to the Laser Gun last. No Achievo... So I started my 3rd playthrough and after creating the 'specific' 7 Combo Card weapons first, IN ORDER (Shocker through Laser Gun), still no Achievo. Guess I'll have to create a New Save a hope that works.
