![]() | Comment #1 by AgentFrodyBanks Friday, December 31, 2010 @ 07:03:46 PM Any shots count, so just go to the first Nanoc issue, put a rubber band around RT and wait. You'll probably only get 70-80k shots getting all the other chievos; those last 40-50k will take awhile. |
![]() | Comment #2 by Carlo Montana Friday, February 25, 2011 @ 09:51:46 AM takes ages to get those shots in. left the rubber band on and went and watched a film. still didn't have enough shots by the time i got back!! haha |
![]() | Comment #3 by Rurik Sunday, April 17, 2011 @ 03:32:29 PM 7-10K per hour? That's way off. I got that many in a 15-minute level. It's more around 25-27K per hour. Upon completing the game and all other achievements I had a total of 81,000 shots. I used the rubber band trick at the beginning of the first challenge. I just popped in a movie, tapped A to jump every few minutes to keep the remote alive, and hit 125K near the end of the film. |
![]() | Comment #4 by pyoobez Sunday, May 29, 2011 @ 03:01:29 PM Not sure how you wrap a rubber band around a controller. I just set a 360 disc on the floor against something heavy and floor level (furniture, etc.) then set the trigger against the 360 disc, then set something with some weight in the front of it. (A shoe works). |
![]() | Comment #5 by Perruggia Wednesday, June 01, 2011 @ 05:12:55 PM this took me around an hour or two to get, it's a very unrewarding 10G |
![]() | Comment #6 by xionteikiatsu Monday, June 13, 2011 @ 01:14:11 AM Easier method if you have a play and charge cable(or a wired controller). Plug in the controller. Wrap the cable around the controller a couple times, with the cord crossing over RT but not touching any of the other buttons. Since you're plugged in, the controller won't turn off randomly, and it doesn't require any sort of crazy objects other than what you already have. |
![]() | Comment #7 by Mawingu21 Monday, June 13, 2011 @ 07:59:42 PM For those who are curious, this achievement unlocks the second you hit the 125k mark. There is no need to complete the level (as some other achievements in this game). |
![]() | Comment #8 by CH4IN SMOKER Friday, July 22, 2011 @ 09:22:31 PM hey here is a novel idea..play the game..throw in a couple of challanges after since you will need to farm cash for winklemiers bonus items...pop. i got it with a play time of around 7hrs... |
![]() | Comment #9 by Shade42 Tuesday, August 02, 2011 @ 01:01:13 PM I got all the other achievements then did the whole 'hold the fire button down and wait thing'. This is exactly the wrong kind of achievement, very unsatisfying. |
![]() | Comment #10 by Frazerz1990 Saturday, October 22, 2011 @ 08:47:09 PM Yeah exactly the same here it was unsatisfying but then again I didn't mind much because by the time I had finished the last levels with them unicorns and crap I just wanted to never play the game again so holding down the trigger watching tv for a while wasn't much of a problem |
![]() | Comment #11 by Valiantheart Saturday, January 21, 2012 @ 12:06:04 PM one of the worst achievements. IN about 7 hours I beat the game and unlocked all the other achievements but this one. I only had about 70K shots fired. I hate having to use my electricity and minutes of my 360s life span to "rubber band" my controller to get an achievement like this. Just like several others here have stated. This achievement is very unsatisfying. BTW I didn't rubber band my controller. I just folded a piece of paper over a couple times and jammed it along side the RT to make it stick. |
![]() | Comment #12 by Valiantheart Sunday, January 22, 2012 @ 09:15:26 AM Adding 7 hours to beat the game... Another 3 hours to get the last 65K shots for this achievement. |
![]() | Comment #13 by GooN x Psycho Friday, March 09, 2012 @ 06:21:14 PM This was by far the last cheevo for me to get :/ |
![]() | Comment #14 by forcefuloliver1 Wednesday, May 16, 2012 @ 08:58:14 PM The game is long has long has so many people says, put all ur money in bonus to start to make A LOT more cash latter on, 5 hours took me to finish the game with all chievos and 75k shots, challenge 1 gives u around 20k shots per hour, do the math, not that much left( dont forget to hold RT during the whole game, never release) |
![]() | Comment #15 by Hess789 Friday, September 07, 2012 @ 03:37:21 PM I finished the game with 83K in shots fired in 6 hours. I then played all the challenges and got all the other achievements and got up to 102K. After 45 min with my right trigger held down I got the achievement. So an extra 45 min was worth it for a fully completed game. I held my trigger down while watching Epic Meal Time on youtube, so it went by quick. |
