Finished it on Hardened though. MW2 was a joke. It required patience, nothing more. Hope this is like MW2 to be honest. I don't usually play games on higher difficulty because I find no joy in it. Always nice to have CoD Veteran achievements, though.

But all in all its sort of mid range compared to the previous two MW's no where near as hard as MW but a little harder than MW2. All in all I found it quite fun and a challenge in certain areas. But nothing too difficult.

Didn't get a chance to finish Cod4 on Veteren...escaping the safehouse on Heat was a bit as was No Fighting In The War Room but had to give the game back to a friend. Other than those two parts I didn't find it all that challenging, a few spots took some time but not too hard. The final mission on WaW was insane. Cod 2 though, with how many missions there was, not to mention lower sensitivity levels than what I'm used too, made that game a bitch and a half. Six missions left to go on Veteren Difficulty. I always play through on Regular first to get a feel for the levels. Have also gotten every level specific achievement (ie This is My Boomstick) on veteren difficulty as well. I rule.

Don't know what the complaining is about. Maybe if some of you, I don't know, advanced while you played, you wouldn't see this issue. Hell sometimes on Veteran I've just stormed forward and taken advance point. The faster you advance, the faster they all die...isn't that the point of the hard difficulty? To be forced to advance?

Lasty mission was the hardest. Once you get up the elevator, through a grenade ( with the G/Launcher) to EACH pillar. then kill the ones that are coming through an opening to the right, once you kill about 30enemies a checkpoint will happen and you can now kill the remaining 10(more less) and run to kill Makarov. Hope it help anyone :)

But all you have to do is stick to cover, pop up and kill one guy then back to cover. Also move up to your team-mates because they'll move up and kill a few emeries. But mostly you have to be patient and stick with cover.

It wasn't hard but there were parts that I just didn't want to waste time or be patient with. Many times I was killed by such stupid things that I don't know if I want to sit through Veteran and get annoyed. I'm sure I'll do it though...

As long as you are patient and continue to push forward, it's pretty much cake. There were a few parts I got hung up on, but nothing major at all. By far the easiest CoD Veteran that I can remember.

Did have a little bit of trouble with part of Return to Sender oddly enough (the part where you have to get to and stand on the back of a truck with a 50 cal). Thought Dust to Dust was going to be tricky but as a few have said let Yuri do the work, hang back at the start shooting from distance and you should be ok.

All the rest of the game was straight forward, take your time, take cover and find some good vantage points for shooting and you should beat this quite easily.

Got to the point I was forced to use a couch for cover... (Bad idea when rushed with shotguns. XD) Worthless likely repeated tips: 1. Cover is your best friend. 2. Watch for the grenade spam. Happens frequently. 3. Don't be afraid to abuse the AI friendlies if necessary. 4. Keep distance if possible. Close range engagements are usually suicide. 5. If inexperienced (note I didn't say noob... hate that word.) You should probably play a regular run to get the ropes. Happy hunting all!

But now I did it in 1 day but rember also of aim assist SO HELPFUL.

	Comment #150 by DarkDragonMaster Tuesday, April 03, 2012 @ 01:11:43 AM so far ive completed every CoD on vet except this one (working on it now for the last 6 hours and on the 3rd last mission) and CoD 3 (for those available on Xbox 360 starting at CoD2) and i really think that CoD 3 was the hardest cause as much as i try i cant even pass the 3rd mission on that one. so far id have to say this one is about as easy as Modern Warfare 2 which i found TBH CoD4 was easier than Modern Warfare 2 except for that stupid 1 shot 1 kill ending. i fluked no fighting in the war room tho thats why. so for those who keep argueing remember how bad and glitchy CoD 3 was cause by far that one was the hardest on vet due to stupid reasons.

Beginning of Blowtorch & Corkscrew, Flak88s in Heart of the Reich, and the first big room in Downfall were the worst(last room wasn't bad as I got the super sniper rifle from the balcony in the Parliament room). In WaW if you didn't move up quick enough enemies kept popping up but at least you could see them on your map which you can't in the more technology advanced MW2 and MW3(in first Act).

I just selected the next set of levels on Veteran and starting playing from there; ended up with this achievement after completing the last mission. F-YEAH!!!! I'd say 2nd easiest campaign on Veteran in the Call of Duty Series. I had just previously finished MW2 on Veteran the other day which is the easiest IMO.
