Medvedev is the President of Russia. Putin is a former President and current Prime Minister of Russia. Though most say he really is running the country...wants to be President again...bring back communism...yada yada yada. |

MW3 takes place in the year of 2016. Putin will be the next President for years
2012-2016 at least, that's 100%.
