Then you get the achievement and goes to the lady saying the numbers, the credits come on in, then it takes you to zombie mode on Five. You should have gotten the achievement...

Know I did jump around midway through playing to get other achievements but why would that cause it to not give it to me. Some are saying you can't save midway through a level which I also did first time through. I'm going through as veterian but only saving at the bigging of the level which pisses me off b/c it took me over 3 hours to get through excecutive order. (it was already 1am when i started that level so I was tired when I got to the tunnels) I wanna know why Treyarch hasn't address this issue?

I wrote again, becaouse i got the ach.! :D I don't know, how or why, but when i played zombies on Five with my friend i changed the map. Than i want to change it back, but i lost it and the DOA too. I quickly watched, my campaing, and i lost everything, and i already beat a few mission on veteran. I said: WTF?!, than i started to beat the game again. And at last of the game i earned this ach., the veteran ach. and an another one!

I put it in twice after five disappeared once on me, beat the campaign the other day but it did not unlock. i played the last mission a few times and it still didn't unlock it. so I started a new game on veteran (i was only messing around on regular the first play through) and after beating the third mission Stand down was unlocked along with Cold warrior. I don't know why but i just wanted to let people know 3 arc unlock does not block this achievement.

Meaning no jumping around mission select, always select resume until you beat the game straight through. I skipped around levels for easy achievements and then beat the game and didnt get this achievement so im gonna play straight through and never select a mission and im thinking this achievement will unlock. Treyarch is killin me!

I went thru the campaign on Veteran and I didn't get the Stand Down or Black Ops Master ach. (However I did get the Burn Notice ach.) I changed the level at one point cuz my niece wanted to play, I have a feeling that is what screwed it up. I am currently going thru the campaign on Recruit without ever changing the level to see if I can at least get the Stand Down ach. I'll post my findings in a day or so, it's gettin late and I'm not sure if I can complete the whole campaign tonight.

Not sure if that had anything to do with it, but FYI I didn't get the Down and Dirty ach. or the It's your funeral ach. because I forgot to recover my gamertag from my friends XBOX. (I wasn't aware that achievements don't count unless you're connected to XBOX Live, I was pretty pissed about that.)

I'm guessing this means that the only way you can get the Stand Down or Black Op Master ach. is by playing the game through without ever switching levels. In other words, to get this achievement, you must start a new campaign, and you may only continue your game after saving and quitting by selecting the RESUME option. If the game ever tells you that you are going to lose progress on your current campaign, then you will not get this achievement. I theorize that after I play the missions "SOG", "The Defector", and "Numbers" on Veteran difficulty, I will finally get my Black Op Master achievement. I hope this was somewhat helpful to those of you who were screwed out of these achievements. (In short, play th

All levels were unlocked and most of the intel but none of the mission specific achievements were unlocked. This was the first time I had ever played black ops on my profile lol. kinda disappointing because I have less to work towards.
