When you get to the Mini game in New Zealand that involves you killing Weasels from a tripod, complete the minigame but don't leave the tripod. Click on the and scroll down to handguns; I recommend the 357. You may have to hit to equip it. Once you have it fire away at an infinite number of weasels. The achievement will pop up after you kill the 20th weasel with the handgun.

Note: If you have killed small game throughout the career with a handgun, you only need to make up the difference.

Same as the crossbow/handgun but you need to equip the Muzzleloader. Its the last rifle in your list or the first rifle to the left when you open up the weapons menu by clicking .

One tip is that you need to wait for the weasels to stop to shoot them. The muzzleloader is a real pain, mainly because it takes forever to reload

The button combination for this , , , , , , , , . You need to rapidly press the button until the circle fills up with the orange/red bar. If you fall, you will need to restart the map.

When the hunter is on the log trying to get to his Trophy Buck, he is going to either lean left or right. You will need to MASH the button if he is leaning left and MASH the button if he is leaning right. Once he is straight up and level, do not push the buttons.

The first level is one of the most open boards for this. The best thing to do is to go to the left side of the map after the tree stand sub mission. Use your scope and find an animal. In the bottom left corner (when targeted on an animal) it will tell you what the distance is. There is usually two elk, one about 100-150 away in the middle, middle right... and one in the distance, roughly 225 yeards away up on the hill. This achievement will eventually pop up whether you try for it or not, the one that you really need to focus on getting is the Extreme Long shot.

Tip: Another place to get it is the duck minigames.

The 200+ yard achievement is easier to get in Africa than North America, in my opinion, quite easy to find a kudu 200-250 yards away and take it down in one shot with a good rifle.

If you don't already have them this is a perfect chance to get the muzzleloader, crossbow, and pistol kill achievements (thank the gods for the never ending weasels) any way use lots of hunter sense and Adrenaline and u get some pretty new achievements.
(2. There's a blind to the left on the path u walk to get to the Red Stag(just at the check point) anyway just shoot the 5 paradise ducks (make use of the duck call maybe)
(3. Now kill the 2 Red Stags with your crossbow.
(4. Hunt the trophy Red Stag (with anything mind you)
(5. Take a nice pic of the beautiful carcass

Later on in the career, and I believe its Argentina, the guide will tell you that you can only use a crossbow. Finish all missions with the crossbow and the achievement is yours.

When facing the couger just dodge it 10 times before killing it. You will need to reload the checkpoint to get the cougar rival achievement. I would focus first, on just dodging until you get the achievement, then click Start-> Load Last Checkpoint.

Dodging Tips: When facing any rival, you will need to dodge to stay alive. will dive you to the left, and will dive you to the right. You do not get a choice in which way you dive, a button pops up on the screen

This one is a little different than the rest. You only get a few seconds to finish this guy off, and he is fighting another elk at the same time. Once you climb the rock follow the path and go until the cut scene. You will see it in the distance fighting another elk. Take position and zoom in. I suggest waiting a second or too until it turns broadside to you. Aim for the head/neck/upper chest and fire away.

TIP: If the elk or any other Trophy animal does not fall after the first shot, DO NOT FIRE AGAIN. The majority of these trophies will fall in one shot, but they wont fall for a good 3-4 seconds. Taking another shot is a horrible idea, wait a couple seconds to see if it falls, if it doesnt, click start and reload the last checkpoint.

Once you climb the rock follow the path and go until the cut scene. You will see it in the distance fighting another deer. Take position and zoom in. I suggest waiting a second or too until it turns broadside to you. Aim for the head/neck/upper chest and fire away. If you miss or hit the wrong deer you will have to try again. This deer will run into the woods and you will have to restart the trophy hunt

Also after you dodge go into the cave then go back out and shot him then dodge and then go back into the cave (repeat untill the lion is dead). I recommend using the .416 rifle and it will take you about 6-7 shots to complete this. If you get hit or miss a shot, you will need to click start and select 'Load Last Checkpoint'. Loading the last checkpoint will place you right at the beginning of the rival hunt.

Alternative Tip that is very helpful:

When you first arrive at the baiting area, immediately head to the left wall where there is a cave entrance at ground level. It is to the left of the cave exit, which is higher up and much more visible. You will get a prompt to press to enter the cave, do so immediately. Go through the cave and exit immediately, going straight to the small opening in the fallen trees, which the game treats as a cave. Press , go through the exit and veer slightly left. There will be another cave entrance in front of you, press to enter. Go through the exit and directly in front of you (possibly slightly to the right, but not much) is the orignal cave entrance you started with. Go there until getting the prompt to enter, turn around and look at the entrance to the cave you just left. The lion will be right there, just starting to turn and charge. Wait until the lion is moving in your direction (so there is no sideways motion to contribute to a missed shot) and fire. Immediately press to enter the cave, and then repeat the cycle. Only shoot when standing in front of this cave entrance. Using the 12 gauge shotgun to ensure you don't miss, it takes approximately 12 shots. Slightly fewer if you use the .416 rifle, but it definitely requires better aim.
