So I'd say this achievement is a pain in the ass to try and get, and that I dislike (and by that I mean hate) "grind the fun out of the game"-achievements like this...

I loved this game when it came out last year, and now it is giving me nightmares. Way to take ALL fun out of a game!! Why not have included the following 3 achievement, instead of these last three that are kicking our asses: 1) Achieve level 69 - no brainer in the other dlc's 2) Finish ALL missions in the Claptrap DLC - this was good in teh Secret Armory 3) Unlock all other 79 cheevos in the game - this could be the last one!

Here's an idea: Enjoy the DLC for what it is, praise Gearbox, then torment yourself with the achievements while sulking in silence. Your whining and slamming Gearbox is puerile and annoying.

I personally don't have a problem with them as I've not played the other 3 DLCs yet, however it's COMPLETELY justifiable to complain about a lack of creativity in a games inherent design. From everything I've heard from people who I play with, both are good add-ons, just dumb comments about how it would have been nice not to "generic copy/paste challenges" across DLCs.

	Comment #25 by connagh Wednesday, January 12, 2011 @ 06:20:41 PM It's easy enough to get you just have to use shock weapons it makes them drop at least two and makes them spawn like crazy I get 40 parts per go so it's quite quick. The same is said for all enemies use what there weak against and they'll drop better weapons!

I've been beating the crap out of the divine trashcans pouring out of the MINAC for a couple hours now and these haven't popped yet. 	Comment #30 by Mad Ibrowz Saturday, January 15, 2011 @ 01:35:59 PM go fight minac, when he appears hide behind rhe rocks nr the van.. location.. where the van is, behind it there is a save point and a shed.. standing in the shed facing out, turn immediatly right.. theres a silver crate with weapons in, nxt to this theres 2 rocks with a thin passage between, hide here.. the minac will come near u, and start to shoot u, (only reach u with 1 turret(. shoot the turret of, (i used a pistol with corrosion) once this turret is gone (turret is on the rear of minac) u can sit there for ever.. he willl not shoot u, or his robots will not reach u.. go watch a movie, go out, do something else, come back a few hrs later and there will be tons of parts all over.. minac accidently tuns over most claptraps.. run out collect what u can. if not got all, just rehide,

I usually check back around every hour in between watching some movies and stuff. This technique def works just takes a little as these items only show up a couple at a time from what i've seen. The only thing that I have not seen on the ground after spending 3 or so hours so far just hiding and letting MINAC destroy his own claptraps are the Clap-Bobbleheads. I have picked up a few of these running through the game but haven't seen not one at all in my battle against MINAC. Anyone know of any better places to look for these Clap-Bobbleheads?

Got a handful of panties (twss), bobbleheads, and pizzas. But after 5 hours only getting 4 bobbleheads is crazy. I even have a Siren with the +2 find rare items. Guess I'll be doing it again for a couple nights.

And if someone have proble, i have advise. 1. do this in 1 playthrough 2. do all quest. 3. rest of items look when fight with MINAC. and last but not least 4. when you fight him, shoot to front door of MINAC, as quickly as you can. this way you shoot very quickly Kamikaze ClapTrap, and the will quickly reSpawn. and do this again and again.

It seems to me that after so many of the common items have been dropped the pizza, oil cans, bag of fish, and panties are then dropped more often. Not had a lot of time to see how accurate this is but I seems to get more if I leave more common items on the floor.

As much as I now enjoy the achievement aspect to gaming, you dont have to get 100% achievements to enjoy a game and a couple difficult achievements do not negatively effect the game. In fact, one can play the game without paying any attention to the achievements and I actually still do that a lot of the time I play. To state that the "great" DL content was ruined because of an achievement that was difficult is ridiculous beyond belief. What happened to just enjoying the game? If a particular achievement is taking too much time an your not enjoying the game while obtaining that achievement.....well, skip it. Its that simple. To play these games with the notion that you have to get 100% of the achievements, even if it means doing repetitious things

Found the farming MINIAC idea rather helpful. Left my Xbox on overnight, about 8 or 9 hours total. Woke up, and found a treasure trove of goodies, a few of which i actually needed. Got the Achievement a few minutes ago. And for those of you who are wondering, the Achievements reverse-stack, meaning if you were dumb like me and decided to do Playthrough 2 first, as long as you use the same character and Gamertag the items roll over to the other Playthrough. Good luck all you peoples!!

They can't have an achievement that is dependant upon you purchasing another DLC. Reaching level 69 is impossible without purchasing Knoxx DLC. Same goes for unloccking all other achievements.

As some of the other posts say the NED TRAP was definitely the easiest place to get this and I had already tried the MINAC hiding method. What I did was get to Level 69, have really good shield with fast regeneration and a decent class mod and then found a spot on one of the platforms around the edge or even in the right corner as you drop down. Rubber band the control so it is continuously moving backwards. Ned starts spawning the suicide Clap Traps but they can't get close enough to cause damage and NED only spits that bile stuff every now again but always with enough time for my shield to regenerate. After 2-3 hours had some much on the screen Xbox was running slow(installed on HDD). Got 3 achievements in one hit, only previously having 2-3 of eac

If you have a lvl 69 (or close) Siren with a beefy shield and defender mod. (having around 4000 shield cap is plenty). you can actually just sit on top of the save point. to do this, just open the red chest to the right of the shack near the save point, use the opened lid to hop onto the roof of the shack, then run along the peak and jump off on top of the green pole. (you might need to hop a little bit to get perfectly centered after the initial jump). but I've found that the divine wind claptraps almost always find me there and explode at the base of the pole. and even though MINAC is still shooting you with his evil eye, he only fires about 8 times before driving off someplace else, leaving your shiel

I haven't tried this with the turrets still functioning. But yeah, just stay on the pole for a few hours (if it helps, you can pretend that you're Lady Gaga) and come back to a huge pile of steaming collectibles.

You go to the last part where you fight the MINAC (I think thats what it's called) 2. The claptraps are suicide bombers so they'll keep runing in to you and dying 3. Leave you're xbox on all day or over night. 4. After about 12-15 hours go back to it and collect everything. (there should be just one giant pile) 5. You should get it and if you don't just rinse and repeat.

The last two I used a level 10 character to host then just sat back and listened to the radio while mowing through the waves. I've yet to find that zen while MINAC-farming. Bobbleheads is all I have left though, and I got three or four more on my last run. I must be up to 10 by now... I concur with #95. Very long and dull. It did improve when I finally had the sense to do it on playthrough 1 so that everything is lv30 or so. Much faster, and one can spray a high-level Double Anarchy into the opening for great effect. Also, bringing someone along with an ammo regen mod does wonders. My ammo regen mod guy still doesn't have the 3d glasses achievement, even though I must have picked up 10 while farming for bobbleheads. I guess only

Only if you siren, there is a class mod called catalyst only for the siren on level 55. It makes enemies drop rare items, i got all the collection achievements within an hour and a half. So if your not a siren, just find someone(not me because i have helped 10 people already) who is a siren with that class and allow them to kill the claptraps and they will drop one item guaranteed everytime.

You have to destroy all the turrets (use a rocket launcher with 500+ damage and they easily get destroyed with one shot), then follow the MINAC when it opens it's doors and kamikaze claptraps come out shoot them through the ramp before they come out if you can and you'll be able to kill a lot of them before the MINAC moves again. With this strategy I was able to kill like 10+ robots before MINAC moved to another spot and I was able to collect the Pizzas, Bobble-Heads etc really fast. Took maybe 30mins not even.

But, I believe someone else did say that the part where Ned-Trap (called the Dividing Faults) is gives better drops. This is true. In two spawn sets I found multiple clap-fish, 3D glasses, a couple of clap bobble heads and even an oil can. This only took about 15 minutes. Though, the MINAC tactic is still the sure bet to get more just based on the sheer number of items dropped.

I found seven or eight of them after about six hours of letting the system run while I was running around town. I will try it again soon. This is the most mind numbing gameplay ever. This is such a great game to have such crappy time suck. I hope Borderlands 2 drops the no skill random drops and add some thing fun to go after.

	Comment #138 by stonedsoldier Saturday, December 10, 2011 @ 01:25:01 PM ok so i just completed all the clap trap collectables achievements. i used the farming MINAC trick except i equipped my modded shield so that i would not take any damage and i also equipped my scavenger class mod in hopes that the +2 team find rare items effect would increase my chances of getting what i needed. then i just climbed on top of the little shed you spawn in and left my xbox on over night. after 10 hours of letting it sit like that i came back to a very laggy game with a half a dozen piles containg 50+ items in each. i ran around collecting everything and watching the achievements pop up one by one. when i cleared the last pile i got this achievement which was the final one. there was more of everything then i even needed except for the pizza. i think there was either exactl

Youtube it if you are having too much trouble. If you are using a wireless controller, just make sure you jiggle the joy stick back and forth every once in a while to keep it from going to sleep. I enjoyed some TV, and after about 8 hrs I had everything. It was ridiculous, but I wanted the achievement.

Seriously though, these (as well as the Bobbleheads/Oil Cans) are best found During the MINAC fight hiding in a place where he cant get you OR if you have the ridiculous Inpenetrable Pancea Shield (2Billion something strength - also good for fighting Crawmerax), chase the MINAC around and wait for Kamikazes to come out of the spawn door. Take them out as soon they spawn and the MINAC spawn more than if you're just hiding. Plug the controller in, make sure your Xbox settings is not on auto-shutdown and walk away for a while... Come back from time to time and collect the loot. You get there eventually. Pizzas took the longest of all. Damn my insatiable appetite for cheevo hunting...

Was literally just a test so i knew where to hide when i do farm this and if it would actually work, it does, i left it for a good 15mins before getting annoyed and actually want to play on my console, def one for overnight. Shame about the 3 bosses before but they don't take long.
