Some spots seem abandoned, like he's never near the piano anymore, but in case he shows up there I always look. Problem is, the maybe 1-in-10 chance he'll show sometimes goes on and on and on to the point where I think he's permanently gone, then he'll pop up. Currently in one of those, but I cruise all 10 spots looking anyway. When the machines have a chance to offer better stuff than I'm carrying, it's always good to give them plenty of chances to do so. I just wish it didn't seem like my inventory was scanned and anything other than better versions of what I have is offered... |

I hope developers stop throwing in these random achievements, would of been nice if he had a side quest maybe 3-4 quest to do for him,that would be more interesting in my opinion. |

 | Comment #77 by MDubb1387 Wednesday, January 23, 2013 @ 06:31:22 AM Been reading about this here and there, found a good explanation on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQbb4t3loTw Apparently after a gearbox update, they dropped his percentage of being there 100% of the time to around 10%. The video explains that if you clear your system cache for the hard drive, it basically brings the game back to launch day status. When you boot up the game, decline to download the update. Load any character while Sanctuary is still on the ground, any difficulty and Michael will be somewhere in the city at one of the spawn locations. It works 100% of the time. You can even farm blue, purple, and orange gear from him by fast traveling in, finding him and talking with him for the gear, saving and quitting, and reloading and repeating. I've done it abo |

Clear your system cache, this will wipe the update to the game. It apparently was patched so he wouldn't appear every time. Load up the game but don't update it, and continue the game and head to Sanctuary. Check out the known spots and he's guaranteed to be at one of them. |
