Literally right at the beginning of the area, you open the gate, and you bump into the bulldozer that has scraps flying out of the top. If the bigger Varkaid isn't a Chubby just quit to main screen and continue. Rinse and repeat. |

You have to have a lot of patience and reload the check point by exiting to the main menu and restarting. When you see the truck shake, head over to it and a Chubby will jump out. If it isn't one, it will be a Badass instead. Fight it if you want for drops and exp or quit and reload. Happy hunting. |

 | Comment #35 by HalfbakedDon Thursday, October 04, 2012 @ 02:29:18 PM Id say the best place to find a Chubby is in "Caustic Caverns" inside the "Infested Warehouse" portion of the map, the varkids there are just about endlessly spawning and the constantly go in to their pods to transform, i didn't get the achievement due to the fact the person i was playing with at the time dealt the final blow to him but it seems like a the greatest place to me to get him to spawn i seen a few there but was never the one to finish him off. |

 | Comment #43 by MrBitey85 Tuesday, October 16, 2012 @ 02:23:09 PM here is a tip i got from a friend and got one within 1 hour , go to tundra express or caustic caverns , when you see a Varkid weaken it , it will turn into an adult varkid then if you are lucky it will either turn into a chubby varkid or a badass varkid , i have seen at least 3 chubby varkid's since trying this trick , make sure not to kill them , and make sure to let them go into their cocoons (pods) , once they pop out as chubby varkid kill them quickly before they transform again , and the achievement will pop up |

In the video the guy spawns all the larval varkid's and then heads to the area on your left as you enter the area with the two dumper trucks. He then heads into the door and stays there, shooting out at the varkids. I did this. I sometimes had to head back out to the main area with the two trucks to get their attention and lure them back in. On my second attempt, I spawned a chubby and a super badass. I then reloaded and spawned another chubby - called my buddy who joined in and he killed the chubby for the achievement. We then used his save to complete two missions in caustic caverns that he had to do. We spawned FIVE more chubby's while moving around the caustic c |
