It will attack anything in sight including other enemies. If you wait long enough before killing him, he raises levels and he'll be very tough. Just wait till he's raised 4 levels. |

Btw if you're having trouble with getting him to Ultimate it's because you aren't killing the flame elementals. You can't forget that he's an armored enemy so fire hurts the hell out of him. |

Mine had fire so they would hit me a couple times (while running away) and it eventually killed them before powering up! |

The harder part for me and my friend was actually getting the Goliath to level up AND stay alive long enough. I'd also like to let #28 know that the person who actually gets the killing shot is the one who gets the achievement because when my friend and I did this and I got the kill, only I got the achievement and we had to level up another Goliath. |

Equip a sniper class and help him out. once he begins rage mode take some of the health off of his targets for him by sniping his targets. Also he will chase you after he clears the area but you can lead him to more enemies and his focus will shift to the other enemies. In Frostburn Canyon, there is a section near where you battle Scorch. Lead the raging Goliath from the path coming from the fast travel to this section and he will easily finish his level up on the bugs. Just make sure you help him with Scorch. |

With the exception of shooting his mask off initially, is it a time based thing, is it based on how many kills he gets, is it how much damage enemies do to him without killing him? All you have to do is know a helmet off of one in the first or second wave, run up the stairs in the corner, and wait for him to do his thing. Once he is GOD-liath, take him out for the cheevo. |

Screwed up with the first couple of Goliaths I had the opportunity to do it with, and by the time this one came out, I was shooting at anything that presented itself, but when the Caustic Goliath's helmet came off, I just ran around phaselocking suckers in front of him while he spewed vile all over them, and i kept running away switiching to the regeneration health mod after my shields had been blown apart. Run, run, run until health back up, switch to shield mod and start helping him out again. Mostly, I used an incendiary rifle. Just had to be really careful who I was shooting at. Youtube vids of Frostbyte Canon helped though. Thanks. :) |

Wait for one of the robots to shot off a Goliath's helmet (if they die, one just respawns)and then use the big turret to whittle down the robot's health for the Goliath to finish them off, then when he's a GOD-liath, switch to a slag weapon, slag the fuck out of him then switch to a launcher, repeat till he's dead. |

I weakened some of the enemies for him and he then turned into a GOD-liath. Once he did I just killed him and BOOM! achievement unlocked. |

When you do the initiation in the arena battle, you can initially shoot the helm off the Goliaths standing near the Slab King (aka Brick). Otherwise there'll be plenty to fight. There's a safe zone in the north right corner of the area. It is a shack with three lockers. Jump onto the locker then onto the shack roof. The Goliath cannot reach you. He'll stay within the arena and fight the other bandits. There's plenty of opportunities to level him up or try again if he is killed off. |

(To lvl Goliath must be the one to kill creatures. If something is a bit big for him, you can assist.) |

On slab king mission with brick just have the Goliath kill everything while you chill up the stairs in the right hand corner. Jus make sure he doesn't die. Try to help him by lowering other enemies up but not killing them. |

Did this when u do the Slab King part. Once he started running for me i would run by other enemies. Was pretty easy with the guns and level i had though. |
