The best chance in doing this is during your first game against Arizona. During you second play thru of the game. By then you would have the experience and timing of the game down. Now wager 50,000, get your unleash meter full as often as you can. The quickest way to get your unleash full is while on offensive select a passing play and wait for defenders to surround your quarterback. Then enter Clash mode and Juke as much as you can in the direction specified. You’ll get one combo worth $1,000 plus the icon towards your Unleashed. Be sure to pass the ball before your Clash runs out to increase the likelihood of a catch. Once you’ve caught the ball be sure to perform a taunt before scoring the touchdown. This should fill up your Unleash on one possession. During the ensuing kickoff move the kick placement meter all the way to the left and correctly enter only two of the button sequences. The kick will be received at about the 40 yard line by a fumbling prone lineman. So unleash on him and recover the fumble. If he doesn’t fumble this is okay just use the defense set up for Manvalanche and be sure to use dirty hits. Do not blow the computer out as you’ll want to keep the game close so you can go into Overtime and Double Overtime if needed. Remember you’ll get 70,000 just from your bet and winning the game so you need to make up the other $180,000. Be sure to use Dirty Hits every time you tackle they are worth $1,000 each and fill your Unleash.
Self Explanatory just never rush the ball. Very easy to accomplish during Division 3.
Self explanatory just never pass the ball. Very easy to accomplish during Division 3.
Underdog
15Beat the Nightmare in Hard Difficulty in Quickplay when using the Grizzlies or Hammerheads
This is quite easy actually. Just use the Manvalanche defense setup and you should be able to stop the Nightmare if you don’t get the ball first. If you do get the ball first go straight into “Clock Management” waste all 15 seconds before selecting a play, and all 10 seconds before the ball is snapped. Use “Power-Toss” and be sure to dive and not get tackled to prevent a fumble or dirty hit. In one possession without any first downs you can waste an entire half.
If you are not familiar with the Blitz series “Butterfingaz” games when you fumble the ball anytime you are tackled. This is very easy and quite fun to play especially since you can play it on the easy difficulty. If you are having trouble just try and run close to the sidelines during your possessions so that the ball goes out of bounds and you maintain control. Also don’t forget you can always use clock management once you have the lead. Still having problems then use the Full Clash Meter code and you should be able to avoid most tackles.
Super easy to obtain. Domination games are were the winner keeps control of the ball. So score once and waste the rest of the time.
Note: You can get all three of these achievements: "Underdog", "Butterfingaz", and "Domination" during the same game.
This is easy to accomplish with a full Unleash or Clash meter. Run as far as you can and try and break into the second level of the punt coverage with a Stiff Arm then turn on the Clash and just out race everyone to the endzone. If you are having trouble getting into that second level of the punt coverage use your Clash just before the first wave reaches you, but you’ll have to stiff arm, juke and dive your way into the endzone.
Easily completed by doing a little clock.
Be sure to have auto-save off or you’ll need to return to the dashboard after every training session. Each time you train you’ll have a chance to buy mystery supplements. These range from the worthless Viagra that does nothing for your characters on field development to the Superman pill that increases their strength by 25. The problem is you won’t know what the pills do until you purchase them. So every third week purchase one for each of your players if it increases the right attribute exit and save, and if it is the wrong attribute exit and reload. The pills constantly change. Also and more importantly be sure to upgrade the training equipment for the attribute you need to work on. This is the best way to get them up and keep them there.

Play a five minute game against Washington on easy difficulty with the Super Clash (CLASHY) and Unleash (BIGDOGS) Cheat Codes on. Now Unleash on the Quarterback until he breaks. He must be knocked out of the game. If he is merely injured, or if they decide to Juice him and he returns you will not get the achievement.
Play a five minute game against Dallas on easy difficulty with the Super Clash (CLASHY) and Unleash (BIGDOGS) Cheat Codes on. Now Unleash on the Quarterback until he breaks. He must be knocked out of the game. If he is merely injured, or if they decide to Juice him and he returns you will not get the achievement.
Easily done while unlocking the "Shutout" achievement.
Easily done by playing quick one minute matches on easy difficulty.
You must use the three all-star teams as well.Go into the Training Camp and complete all of the required task. Not difficult at all.
While receiving a kickoff dive out of bounds inside the 10 yard line and then toss a Hail Marry which is on the “Speed” play set.
This can easily be accomplished while doing the Whale achievement. Just be sure to use plenty of dirty hits and if a players name turns red Unleash on them. The more dirty hits you perform on a player the more likely they are to become injured.
Easily achieved while unlocking the "Bombs Away" achievement.
You will unlock this after you win the Division 3 title.
You will unlock this after you win the Division 2 title.
You will unlock this after you defeat the Nightmare to win the Division 1 title.
During a campaign season with a running back as your rookie run the ball a lot. You can check the status of your rookie under the “Statistics” tab on the Campaign Menu.
During a campaign season with a quarterback as your rookie just pass the ball often. You can check the status of your rookie under the “Statistics” tab on the Campaign Menu.
During a campaign season with a rookie as your RB or WR pass the ball often to your rookie back or wideout. You can check the status of your rookie under the “Statistics” tab on the Campaign Menu.
Using the Manvalanche setup just blitz with your veteran I’ve found it easiest with a safety as the veteran
Again using the Manvalanche setup blitz but do not sack the quarterback just pressure him and allow him to throw it. Switch to a defender and wipeout the receiver. Then switch to your veteran safety and go for the INT. I’ve found it easier to do once you’ve purchased the Spider-Web gloves from the equipment shop. You can also go for the sack and fumble using your safety, however I’ve found it easier to get the INT because the computer is always going into Clash when they throw making it easier to get the INT.
You can turn off Auto-Save and reload if you lose.
Easily obtainable while unlocking the "Whale" achievement.

Running the ball especially without a full clash meter in this game really isn’t an option. The computer plays the game even on the hard level with that knowledge impressed upon its AI. Therefore you should take full advantage of this fact on defense. Always set up in a “Cover” defense meaning only two defensive lineman and if available the “Far” or “Invade” formation. Move the left DE to the left of the screen and blitz. The quarterback will almost always roll to his right. Quickly switch to your Safety or LB and dive. You don’t need to be in actual diving distance to tackle him. Doing an Unleash or Dirty Hit will almost always work even if you are far outside the actual diving distance to sack him. If he does manage to throw the ball remember there is no such thing as pass interference in Blitz. With your “Cover” setup you’ll have DB’s and Safety’s all over the field so quickly switch to one of them and destroy the intended receiver before the ball arrives. I’ve been able to get 42 sacks in one game.
After the campaign is completed you can purchase bonus equipment with money earned from online matches. Just buy everything. Do this after unlocking "Mad Bank".
See "Mad Bank".
Easily achieved during a couple unranked matches with a friend. Whoever kicks the ball off should immediately and quickly start pressing B and move there defenders away from the player receiving the kick. Once you’ve broken past their coverage you can taunt by moving the left thumbstick. You’ll receive $1,000 for each taunt. Just keep running sideline to sideline between the endzone line and the ten yard line while your friend continues to keep his defenders at bay. Once the clock is about to run out you can just dive into the endzone and score. Kick the ball of and return the favor. Before the half and game ends you can do this until your hearts delight, but remember you don’t earn taunts or icons with a full Unleash so use it whenever you have it. I’ve been able to get ~$200,000 per game in a two minute game. So play 5 minute games and this should be done in a couple matches
Secret achievements
Pretty self explanatory, just lose your first game.
Pretty self explanatory, just lose and lose badly.
You may get this un-intentionally once you get to Division One but if you don’t and care about the number of achievements you have you can easily get this by throwing plenty of deep balls against the New England Regulars once you reach Division 1.
Pretty self explanatory, just lose and then rinse and repeat 4 more times.
Pretty self explanatory, just fumble the ball and have the defense recover 5 times in one game. You can toss the ball before tackled to make this easier by pressing the LB button was engaged by a defender.
This is a tough one. You need to have a full Unleash meter and Unleash on Quentin Sands (aka Lawrence Taylor #56 for the Nightmare) during any of your three games against him while in Division 1. To avoid the injury that he will inflict on you during your first Division one game. Don’t take the field with your Rookie. Set up for field goals and audible out. If your Rookie takes the field after the first play is over Quentin will perform a nasty late hit on him and injure him for six – eight games. If you are going for the undefeated achievement it will be tough to defeat them using only your special teams but just stick to the clock management, and Manvalanche tactics and you should be okay.
You feel itchy down below. Did you pick something up from your last opponent?
Just play someone with the achievement already and be sure they use an Unleash move against you. You may receive the achievement if they don’t but sometimes you won’t. I’ve never had a match in which I’ve used an Unleash and the achievement not be received by the other player.
