^No need to be dick about it.
The player needs to protect the Little Sister as she extracts the adam from the corpse. If the multiplier drops below x4 several times, the required amount of adam won't be achieved, thus not gaining the "A" rank.
Note: "A" rank not to be confused with "A+". |

just as a note, you do not have to complete the bonus trials with an A ranking, just the regular ones |

For some reason I found the first trial at the Pauper's Drop market to be the hardest. During my first 3 tries, the ADAM collected got worse. I got better using Cyclone Trap and nailed it though.
I wish they'd have done more 'special challenges' with these, like in Dionysus (sp?) 3. |
