I'd suggest using one of the helis that has missiles as its primary weapons and try lining up tanks or APCs, managed to get a few kills that way, although the little bird's guns are pretty powerful in the right hands. Also, level up your choice of jets or helis as you can unlock things such as heat-seeking missiles, making it easier to get kills against other aerial vehicles and flares to prolong your outings. If you're finding it hard to get kills to level up, hop into CQ, grab a heli and land next to a flag for an easy 200/250 exp :D It's obviously easier at the start capturing an uncontested flag rather than trying to cap one under fire. The ribbons you need are: Air warfare ribbon Armored Warfare ribbon and the Transport Warfare ribbon The armored one is easy. 7 Kills with tank in 1 round. Transport warfare isnt that bad. 4 Kills with a Humvee or something else that is a transport vehicle in one round. (That transport chopper counts as a transport vehicle. The one with the miniguns.) Then the hardest one (for me tho). 6 Kills with a flying vehicle in one round. This is hard because everyone wants to fly a jet or chopper. And the transport chopper I mentioned before doesn't count. So you need a Viper or a Little bird. I found this easy to do on the map 'Operation Firestorm'. Just get a buddy that can fly a little and you need to be the gunner for the Viper. Just make 6 kil

Tbh, as with the PC version, people aren't hugely keen on air vehicles and it seems a lot easier to get them (BF2 was all about people holding E to grab the jet or chopper as they spawned, had massive queues and lots of tk's).

I've flown around in a jet for a total of about 30 minutes and haven't even hit a single thing let alone killed anyone. This bullshit of only have the machine gun for a weapon and NO f'ing flares is complete crap....

	Comment #17 by markoquinn Thursday, November 03, 2011 @ 12:49:18 PM @15 i'm pretty sure you have to be the one doing the killing. if you have ever played a battlefield before game you know that drivers only get assists, and as we all know assists don't count for anything but a few points. this does not have to be done in jets you can get it in the heli's alone. just find a good pilot and if you are having trouble aiming put it on normal "not hardcore" so you will have crosshairs. shouldn't be that hard.

For Choppers the fastest way I found was do CQ matches and fly to each of the flags and capture them. (don't even need to shoot people) Points I got for Flag capture seemed to add up to my leveling of the chopper. (note: don't get out of the chopper when doing this) As for kills... just be a gunner and attack everyone you see... easiest level for me was Kharg Island first part on Rush. Seemed like enemies couldn't hide from you.

For those of you who still need it I want to point out some hints that helped me get it: - Play Rush on Kharg Island as an attacker. Go to the server browser and search for a server with plenty of free slots. This way you can most likely always switch to the attacker team once you joined the server (defenders do not have choppers). - Do not spawn on the map and wait till you eventually get a chopper! Wait for the viper / havoc to appear in the map lobby list. There are only few helicopters but lots of people who want to fly them. If your teammates just crashed a chopper, it will take like 2 minutes for a new one to spawn. When the chopper finally appears in the lobby list, naviga

This increases your chances of getting straight on the gunners seat instead of the pilots seat. - Once you are on the gunners seat and have a decent pilot with you, scan the map and start hammering the BACK button like crazy to spot enemies! Without spotting them, you are likely to lose your enemies if you don´t kill them with the first shots. - Always take some flares with you. Do not take the scope for the gunner. You will need countermeasures because jets and engineers will do everything to shoot you down! - The rest is pure luck. I ended up with 5 kills so many times before I finally managed to nail those 6 kills in one round. If you fail, exit the server and search for a new one with Kharg Island Rush. Repeat until you get it!
