That's what I'd assume, at least. Hopefully completing all the challenges and rescuing all the hostages this time round will let you lay the smackdown on the Riddler, rather than just hearing the police arrest him :D |

The first hostage you rescue in the courthouse does not count towards this achievement. The hostages that count are the ones you unlock by collecting a number of riddler trophies/secrets etc. |

In order to unlock hostages, you will need to collect a substantial amount of riddles, riddler trophies, catwoman trophies, joker teeth, demon heads, tyger cams, etc. etc. For the record, I had 400/450 collectibles when the final confrontation with Riddler began. Some of those were catwoman trophies and challenges, so I am unsure about whether or not you will need to collect everything if you have not downloaded the catwoman DLC. If you do have the catwoman DLC, then collecting some of her items may be easier than collecting some of batman's harder ones. |

Go all the way to the marker and shoot up to that large pillar then glide and dive bomb down and navigate underneath the bridge and over the electric fence then you can release it, The door is near the electric fence on the right. Guide: 1. You cant open the door so shoot up to the top of the room and remove the small metal door and crawl through the space until you drop down 2. Simply avoid the hostages (Getting in their way will detonate the bombs on their heads) and follow the walkway they are taking to the breakable pane just above you (There the Riddler is, Using Detective Mode makes it easier to see him) and just hit Y while underneath the pane to take him down and the achievement is yours |

I've completed main storyline and missed some trophies and things in wonder tower, and a couple in steel mill I can't seem to get either. I've got 376 riddler secrets and 12 of the catwoman trophies and still no contact from the oracle that she's found his hideout. The only trophies I've missed collecting are the ones that I just cannot get, even with the guide posted above. I just wanna punch Riddler in the face, lol |

This includes all trophies, joker balloons, demon heads, joker teeth, etc. They ALL count towards this achievement. The catwoman DLC helps you get more riddler secrets for this achievement. For example if you have 360 Batman secrets, and you collect 40 Catwoman secrets, then you will have 400 total. Without the catwoman DLC you will have to collect all 400 Batman secrets for Oracle to find his location. |

Riddler = Captain obvious hope the nx game take me more than 12 hors to get 100% & hard is supposed to be hard WTF this was a joke the only HARD part was the snipers gaurding the cinama which killed me twice b4 i took them out... come on game stop making these games for children & make the HARD setting HARD!!! |

You need 400 riddler challenges completed it doesn't matter which ones (you can have 385 for batman and 15 for catwoman or all 400 for batman and none for catwoman). All you need to do is grapple up above the door, crawl through the vent, drop down and walk behind the hostages until you get directly under riddler and it gives you the takedown prompt. |

 | Comment #47 by NowIGottaWetCha Monday, June 11, 2012 @ 06:27:29 PM why is everyone bitching about these achievements? it's 190 points to get all the riddler trophies and save the hostages. it's called an achievement for a reason. it's not supposed to be done easily. if you don't like the task, don't do it and miss out on the achievement. that's the great thing about games like this, they put extra hours of gameplay in so you get your moneys worth. if you want easy achievements, go buy disney games. |
