This is obviously a reference to AC1 when Warren calls Desmond an assassin but he says not anymore as if he was ashamed of his past. |

In this Sequence he talks about how he was reluctant to become an Assassin... so the name is pretty much just a title for this segment of his backstory |

None of the back story in these sequences are necessary. Desmond grew up on an Assassin's farm and then bailed to be a bartender. We knew this already and its not interesting enough to rehash |
