As you open chests and complete missions, you unlock more recipes. You can craft by using the trade book that's at the mansion or any of the general stores. |

| Comment #18 by silverkngt101 Thursday, November 08, 2012 @ 07:46:29 AM @17 It may be a bug, but after you get each artisan, remember their are follow-on missions, not just in the homestead, but in boston, new york, and even the frontier. Keep an eye for the homestead mission icon. I think the last mission is the funeral (someone correct me if i'm wrong) and all your people will be at their max level. @16 When you look at the Accounting book, there are 3 options, the first one is Stockpile, go down to minerals and to your right you'll find iron ore. If it's not there with the rest of the ores, you may need a few more homestead missions. |

I'm past the prologue and I'm still doing homestead missions. There's a large amount of things to do. My theory is that the more you sync up the memories, the more homestead missions and more cumulative things open up. I took down a few Templar forts and I got a message window saying I had more homestead missions unlocked. I don't think it directly stems from that specific action, just an example. I periodically check the map for like silverkngt101 was saying. |

Rescue the Blacksmith, invite him to stay at the farm and start his mission, you will need to go to New York and buy a new hammer for him. Come back to the farm and give him the hammer. Go home and craft a invention that need a Blacksmith level 2, a glass bottle and one metal that i can't remeber its name ps: sorry for my english, it is not my language |
