Unfortunately, SEGA has delayed this game until approximately March 2013, so it has yet to be released outside of Japan. Fortunately for fans of Platinum’s work, Anarchy Reigns follows in Bayonetta’s and Vanquish’s footsteps of being completely finished in English while being region-free. As a bonus for those who speak other languages, the game also has complete Spanish, French, and Italian text and audio. As far as achievements are concerned, the only one which may prove problematic is completing the game on Hard mode. Max Anarchy may seem hard as it requires a no-death run, but this is surprisingly much easier than expected, especially since you can do it on any difficulty setting. Roadmap While there are multiple different ways to tackle the game, my roadmap is but a suggestion. If you wish to start on White/Black, Easy/Normal/Hard, you can do whichever you want. The point of my roadmap is to set people on the right track and possibly slightly vary their way of doing things from mine if they desire. STEP 1: Start on Black Side, Hard Mode During this step I recommend to start on Hard mode, Black Side to get the hardest part of the game out of the way. It will have a rough learning curve, but once you finish it you’ll never have to deal with it again. It will also prepare you for your no-death run due to its extreme difficulty. To make things easier on yourself, you may want to kill 20 enemies during Street Brawl to change the environment to rainy where a special enemy will spawn. Kill him, and afterwards an enemy carrying an item box will appear. If you kill the enemy holding the item box you’ll get a random item which may help you during missions. For more help with Hard mode, refer toAnarchy Reigns is an Oxymoron. During this playthrough you may want to get started on Burnt Out Anarchyand Anarchy’s Executioner which require you to defeat every boss during rampage and with a killer weapon. To do so, you’ll need to keep track of each and every boss. Refer to the aforementioned achievements for details. Do, however, keep in mind that you can finish up these achievements at any time, so don’t fret if you need to simply kill a boss if you’re having a hard time. After this step, you’ll have unlocked all the hard mode achievements except for clearing the White Side campaign on Hard. After completing the game once, your Stage Select screen will look like this (for hard mode): STEP 2: Start on White Side, Normal Mode Without Dying As you may have noticed after completing Black Side, you cannot play every stage in stage select. To do so, you must also complete the game on White Side. During this step, you’ll have the gameplay experience gained from Hard mode to help you get through Normal mode without dying. This playthrough will be much easier and quicker than your Hard mode playthrough, but be sure to pick Retire from the start menu or return to the main menu if you happen to die by chance. During this step, you may also want to aim for Burnt Out Anarchy andAnarchy’s Executioner by defeating each boss with the opposite kill you did not perform during your Hard Mode playthrough. STEP 3: Complete White Side 4-3 Hard, White Side Red Side Hard, Black Side 4-3 Normal, Black Side Red Side Normal in Stage Select This step is by far the easiest step so far. After completing the game starting on both White Side and Black Side, you’ll have every stage available in Stage Select. To unlock the other campaign clear achievements, simply finish up the remaining missions you don’t have completed in Stage Select. STEP 4: Wrap-Up By now you’ll likely have every achievement in the game bar a few. Now is the time to finish up those silly achievements you didn’t bother going for earlier and killing every boss with rampage and your killer weapon. To finish up, the last achievements you’ll probably need to unlock are Massage with an Anarchy Ending, Burnt Out Anarchy, and Anarchy's Executioner. Conclusion Overall, Anarchy Reigns isn’t a particularly tasking 1000 gamerscore, but it will require a small amount of perseverance to handle hard mode and playing your no-deaths run. Best of all, however, is Platinum delivers another fantastic gem that North America definitely won’t want to miss! (and let’s hope they don’t!) 	Max Anarchy	60
	Complete the game without using retries on any difficulty.	(12)
In order to unlock Max Anarchy, you must complete the game without using any retries which means you must not die once. Although this may sound difficult, it really isn’t as hard as it sounds. If you play through the game in the fashion I described in the roadmap, you’ll have experience from Hard mode which will make this game on Normal mode be a walk in the park. If Normal is still too hard, you are also able to unlock this on Easy which should make it nearly difficult to die. Keep in mind that rampage mode makes you invincible so you may want to hold on to it until your health drops low so you can be invincible and regain your health simultaneously. This will unlock at the end-game results screen.
	Anarchy Recognizes Anarchy	30
	Unlock all player characters in the game.	(6)
The only character you will not unlock normally through campaign mode is Gargoyle. Gargoyle can be unlocked by either reaching level 22 online or simply completing both Red Sides by starting and completing the game on White and Black side. This will unlock at the end-game results screen if done through campaign mode.
	Burnt Out Anarchy	40
	Defeat all the bosses while in a Rampage. (Campaign Mode)	(1)
This requires you to defeat every boss while in rampage mode. You will know it counts towards the achievement if you get a Rampage! +10000 bonus. It looks like this: This image has been resized. 	Anarchy's Executioner	40
	Defeat all the bosses with your Killer Weapon. (Campaign Mode)
This requires you to defeat every boss with a killer weapon ( or versions both work). You will know it counts towards the achievement if you get the Overkill! +10000 bonus. The original image is sized 799x452. All bosses seem to be a little shaky, as it’s still unknown if you need to kill bosses that reoccur more than once. However, it seems you only need to kill bosses that are playable characters. I personally unlocked this achievement on the 2nd battle with Oinkie, but that’s cross-chapter. Nevertheless, you can go and re-battle every boss in Stage Select immediately, so it never hurts to kill every single boss. Please note that you never actually kill Douglas in White 4-2, so keep an eye out for the bonus to make sure you get right before the cutscene pops. 	Ultimate Weapon of Anarchy	60
	Defeat Cthulhu within 5 minutes. (Campaign Mode)	(7)
In order to unlock this you must defeat Cthulhu in under 5 minutes in Black Side 4-2. This is actually very easy if you use rampage mode to consistently damage him. You can watch the battle with him here @ 2:06:
	Anarchy in the Calamari	60
	Defeat the Kraken within 5 minutes. (Campaign Mode)	(4)
In order to unlock this you must defeat the Kraken in under 5 minutes in White or Black Side 2-2. Unlike the Cthulhu fight, this is a bit more difficult to do in less than 5 minutes. If you don’t unlock this your first try, simply go back and do this mission on Easy with Stage Select so he’ll lose his health faster. You can watch the battle with him here @ 3:34:
	Minefield of Anarchy!	20
	Shock 3 enemies at once with a Supercharged Trap. (Campaign Mode)	(1)
This achievement requires you to hit 3 enemies with one supercharged trap. You will find a lot of supercharged traps in Black Side 3-1 Free which also has a lot of drones, easily unlocking this achievement. 	Lake of Fire? Lake of Anarchy!	20
	Defeat 5 enemies at once with an incendiary grenade. (Campaign Mode)	(2)
Incendiary grenades are a slightly more rare item than most. However, in Black Side 2-1, the mission with the Gargoyles, there will always be one in the rightmost item box. Simply pick up the incendiary grenades and save it for after the mission. Then in Street Brawl simply throw it at a group of 5+ thugs to unlock this achievement. 	Anarchist's Tomato Cookbook	20
	Defeat 50 enemies with the Rifle. (Campaign Mode)	(2)
Defeating 50 enemies with the rifle should come naturally, as there is a rifle free mission where you have infinite bullets and tons of enemies on both the Black and White sides of the campaign, Black 1-3 Free and White 3-3 Free. Here is a video of one of the rifle free missions at 8:46:
	Machine Gun Anarchy	15
	Defeat 15 enemies with the Gatling gun. (Campaign Mode)	(1)
This achievement should come naturally in Black Side 2-1 at the beginning when you’re mounted on the gatling gun shooting the myriad of Gargoyles coming to attack you. Here is a video of that sequence:
	Backyard Barbeque (With Anarchy)	15
	Fry 50 enemies with the Flying Platform. (Campaign Mode)	(1)
The enemies with the Flying Platform begin to appear in Stage 2 during the rainy environment. To make it rain, simply kill 20 enemies in Street Brawl. There will be a chance the enemy with the Flying Platform will appear. Attack the Flying Platform a few times to knock the enemy off of it, which you can then hijack with . Press to use the Flamethrower attachment. Killing 50 enemies with this will take some time so you may have to hijack multiple Flying Platforms to unlock this. Please note that you cannot hijack Flying Platforms during missions as they will explode instead. Additionally, during Black Side 2-1 Free there is a race-style mission where you will be on a Flying Platform. I tried to unlock this achievement during that mission but I didn’t seem able to do so, so I am unsure if that mission will count towards this achievement. Nevertheless, here is a video of that mission to show off the Flying Platform:
	Baron von Anarchy	15
	Defeat 50 enemies while riding a Helicopter Drone. (Campaign Mode)	(1)
In order to unlock this achievement you must simply kill 50 enemies while riding a hijacked helicopter drone. You can unlock this easily in White Side 2-1 Free as the entire mission involves you riding a hijacked helicopter with infinite ammo. Here is a video of that mission:
	Someone Set Up Us The Anarchy!	15
	Defeat 10 enemies by throwing an explosive Pyro Killseeker before they explode. (Campaign Mode)
To unlock this achievement you must kill 10 enemies with a Pyro Killseeker (the red flamethrower enemies) before they explode. When their siren goes off, run over to them and pick them up with . Throw them at other enemies and it will count towards this achievement. Note that you CAN throw them at other ready-to-explode Pyro Killseekers to unlock this achievement. If you want somewhere to guarantee Pyro Killseekers will spawn, go to Black Side 1-1 Free. You can watch a video of me unlocking this achievement here:
	Anarchy Clockwork Drone	15
	Defeat 5 enemies by throwing a self-destructing Drone before they explode. (Campaign Mode)	(2)
Similar to the Pyro Killseeker achievement, this requires throwing 5 ready-to-explode Drones at enemies and killing them with the blast. Just like the Pyro Killseeker achievement, you can throw this at other ready-to-explode Drones to count towards this achievement. A fair number of drones spawn in Black Side 3-1 Free.
	Frozen in Time for Anarchy	15
	Defeat a frozen enemy. (Campaign Mode)	(2)
Defeating a frozen enemy requires freezing an enemy with a cryo container then proceeding to kill them. While most people will unlock this naturally or on accident, if you still do not have this then play White Side 3-1 Free where a cryo container should be.
	Throw The Anarchy Already!	15
	Defeat 20 enemies with thrown objects. (Campaign Mode)
This achievement requires 20 enemies to die by any thrown object. The best place to unlock this is in Black Side 2-2 Free where you fight an atrocity of parasites. There will be a few explosive containers in the arena which you can throw at a group of parasites to kill many all at once. You can watch Black Side 2-2 Free in this video and the mission @ 2:58:
	Guy Dead Missile Anarchy	20
	Destroy a Helicopter Drone by throwing its missile back at it. (Campaign Mode)	(2)
To unlock this achievement you must destroy a helicopter with its own missile. This is best done in Black Side 1-1 as doing this in Street Brawl usually ends with a hijack-ready helicopter instead. Watch this video to see how to unlock this:
	The Plural of Ninja is Anarchy	20
	Throw 10 enemies from behind using stealth. (Campaign Mode)	(2)
To unlock this achievement you must get the stealth power up. The stealth power up is the blue stick figure. Fortunately this power has a high chance of appearing from the item box guy who appears after defeating a rainy enemy (20 kills to change to rain). Once you get a hold of this power, make a save. Use the power and then get behind the clueless enemies and grab them with . Each grab should be an instant kill. You’ll likely get around 7 kills with this before the power runs out, so reload and get the last 3 kills. The power up should look like this in the bottom left corner: This image has been resized. 	Meet the Anarchy Butcher	20
	Kill 20 mutants via the mutant execution technique. (Campaign Mode)	(1)
To unlock this achievement you must finish off 20 mutants with the execution move, done by pressing when a green ring circles around them. This will probably unlock naturally, but if you must unlock this, go to White Side 4-2 Free where a lot of mutants spawn.
	Big Combo Anarchy	40
	Defeat an enemy with a combo of 100 hits or longer. (Campaign Mode)	(2)
Unlike most games, combos in Anarchy Reigns are not a string of attacks. Instead, they are simply attacking continually without long delays between attacks. You can easily unlock this anywhere in Street Brawl or even in White Side 1-1 Free on Hard where there are a ton of regular enemies without spawning a difficult enemy who could break your chain.
	Massage with an Anarchy Ending	15
	Evade 5 throws. (Campaign Mode)	(6)
This is one of the more frustrating and annoying achievements in this game. This requires you to press almost immediately as you are grabbed. The problem is that enemies do not grab very frequently. The best way to unlock this is by playing White Side 4-1 where you fight Nikolai. Constantly circle around him until he grabs you, then quickly press . Do this 5 times to unlock this achievement. 	Duel of the Anarchies	15
	Counter 5 enemy attacks. (Campaign Mode)
This will probably unlock for you by accident. You simply must attack an enemy who is in the middle of attacking 5 times to unlock this achievement.
	Rage! Rampage! Anarchy?	15
	Defeat 50 enemies while in Rampage mode. (Campaign Mode)
This achievement will likely come naturally. You must merely defeat 50 enemies while you are in rampage mode. To initiate rampage, click in on and simultaneously.
	Anarchy is a Killer Weapon!	15
	Defeat 50 enemies with Killer Weapon attacks. (Campaign Mode)
Like the rampage achievement, this will likely come naturally as well. Simply defeat 50 enemies with killer weapon attacks. Hold and then press or to use your killer weapon attacks.
	Path of the Weak isn't Anarchy	15
	Defeat 30 enemies with throw attacks. (Campaign Mode)
To unlock this you must kill 30 enemies with a throw. To throw an enemy, press while next to them. Do this in Street Brawl where you have a lot of enemies to throw consistently.
	In Anarchy, Timing is Everything	10
	Evade 10 times. (Campaign Mode)
Like many other achievements, this one will probably be unlocked naturally as well. To evade, simply hold and a direction and then press .
	The Best Defense is Anarchy	10
	Defend against an enemy attack 10 times. (Campaign Mode)
As said before, this will likely be unlocked naturally as well. Hold to block, and let enemies attack you 10 times.
	Elite Force of Anarchy	20
	Starting on White Side, complete all Campaign and free missions on any difficulty. (Stage Select OK)
To unlock this achievement, complete the game after choosing White Side at the beginning of the game.
	Chasing Anarchy	20
	Starting on Black Side, complete all Campaign and free missions on any difficulty. (Stage Select OK)
To unlock this achievement, complete the game after choosing Black Side at the beginning of the game.
	Mad Anarchy	30
	Starting on White Side, complete the Campaign on hard difficulty.	(3)
To unlock this achievement, complete White Stages 1-4, Black Stages 1-4, and White Side Red Side on Hard mode. Refer to the roadmap for recommendations on the order to perform these tasks.
