| At the beginning of Episode 3 you'll find a PDA that gives you acces to a map. On the map you'll find grey circles as if they jam that piece of the map. When you get there you will see this happen on your radar. Just search around the area and as soon as the screen turns weird, you're close by to a Root of Evil. These are standing 'trees' that can only be killed by fire, and my advice is to use a flammable bottle on it, and then shoot it while in mid-air. Destroying these things you'll get paranormal powers, like seeing where the weakpoints of the enemies are. | ||||||

| Very easy achievement, as soon as you get a bottle and you got some tape, just add them together and you'll get this one. | ||||||

| Just kill 3 Humanz at the same time, in Episode 3 you'll find a hotdog car that you can push into 3 enemies, do this and as soon as its close let it explode. | ||||||

| Kill any Humanz with the 'spray + lighter' combination. | ||||||
| In Episode 2 you'll get the bugspray and a lighter. As soon as you get both of them equiped them and just flame a Humanz. You'll also kill it because they can only be killed by fire. | ||||||
| The Molotov Cocktail | 5 | ||||
| Insert a wick into a bottle with flammable content. | ||||||
| If you got a some kind of paper and a bottle with flammable content, combine them and you got your Molotov Cocktail. | ||||||
| Cocoon | 20 | ||||
| Burn a cocoon. | ||||||
| You'll find your first cocoon in Episode 3, its a large thing stuck to the walls with "cables." | ||||||
| The Air Bomb | 5 | ||||
| Throw a bottle filled with flammable liquid and shoot it mid-air. | ||||||
| If you've got a bottle of flammable liquid simply equip that with your gun, then when you throw the bottle just shoot it. | ||||||
| The Sticky Bomb | 5 | ||||
| Take a bottle filled with flammable content or a spray and combine it with an adhesive. | ||||||
| In Episode 2 you'll get the bugspray and in chapter 1 you'll get tape. Just combine these two to get your sticky bomb. | ||||||
| Fire Bullets | 5 | ||||
| Make a fire bullet by pouring flammable liquid on it. | ||||||
| When you get your bottle with flammable liquid in Episode 2, combine it with your gun to create fire bullets. | ||||||

| Combine a taped bottle filled with flammable content or a spray with a glowstick. | ||||||

| Combine an empty taped bottle with a wick and an emergency flare. | ||||||
What you need: An empty bottle (you can pour the fuel out of a bottle by pressing  ). Tape, a piece of bandage or a handkerchief and a flare. Combine every item by pressing  and voila...you just made a useless combination. The first time i've found a flare was in episode 7 but you'll find it eventually. | ||||||

| Make all possible combinations in the inventory. | ||||||
Do all the combo achievements and the usseless combo achievement, after that combine a glowstick with some tape and a flare with some tape. Note: You don't need the blood combos. Here are all the combonations. Explosive Plastic Bottle + Double Sided Tape + Handkerchief + Flare | ||||||
| The Sharpshooter | 20 | ||||
| Finish off a Humanz by shooting fire bullets at it's fissure. | ||||||
| Just use fire bullets and then shoot a Humanz on those lines on his body, the pieces that look as if they are put together. That is its fissure. | ||||||
| Demolition Expert | 20 | ||||
| Build the most destructive weapon. | ||||||
| Combine any kind of spray with tape and an ammo box. | ||||||
| Fissure | 20 | ||||
| Burn a fissure. | ||||||
| A fissure is that crack in the ground, wall etc. that will follow you at certain events and will try to take you into the ground. Just set it on fire by shooting it, or just stand with your back against a fire and as soon as it charges at you, jump aside. | ||||||
| The Biggest of All | 25 | ||||
| Beat the Museum Monster. | ||||||
| The monster will appear in Episode 5 where you will have to defeat. The trick to beat this beast is to throw fuelbottles at it, you can find bottles in every corner of the room. Just throw, take aim and shoot. 4 direct hits will kill this monster. Make sure you take cover behind a pillar after each hit, you'll know where to stand because the ground will glow blue. | ||||||

| Kick 10 Ratz. | ||||||
In first person mode, press  when the Ratz are on the ground. Make sure you don't have an item or weapon equipped. You'll kick a Ratz away but you won't kill it. It can be done with only one Ratz. | ||||||

| Burn a Ratz nest. | ||||||
| In Episode 3 you'll find some weird thing that spits out Ratz. Just set in on fire and you get this one. | ||||||

| In Episode 4 you'll get attacked by flying things that look like Vampires, they are Vampirz. just kill them using fire any way, be it Fire Bullets, a chair on fire or whatever you can think of. | ||||||

| Episode 3, after the buttsqueezing "get in the car hanging on a cable" moment you'll see your first cocoon. Beneath the cocoon there's some water, you'll see a goldfish swimming there. | ||||||

| At the beginning of Episode 3 you'll get a PDA that has a call function, and also a Contact list. Just try to call them when you can and you will get this one | ||||||

At the end of episode 2 you'll need to hotwire a car, just connect both green cables (select them by pressing up on both sticks) and you'll see a small bar. Press Note: This can change, as I just had to slam into the car and got the key in the sunvisor. | ||||||

| Unlock a car door after breaking the window. | ||||||
| Just shoot a car window if you cant get into it and then open the door... that's simple. You might get this achievement in Episode 2 where you have to get into a car. | ||||||
| Free Gasoline | 10 | ||||
| Pierce a car gas tank and fill a bottle with the fuel. | ||||||
| If you've got a screwdriver and a bottle that isn't full with fuel, you can use your screwdriver on a car and then fill the bottle with fuel. You will get a screwdriver in Episode 3 near the end. It's on the floor | ||||||
| Never Leave a Key Here | 10 | ||||
| Find a car key in the sun visor. | ||||||
| If you get into a car that needs a key, just check the sun visor. It's almost every time there. You will get this achievement in Episode 2 most likely. | ||||||
| The 10 Mile Race | 20 | ||||
| Drive at least 10 miles with a vehicle. | ||||||
| Well what can I say, just drive 10 miles around, you'll get this achievement quite fast when you get into Central Park. | ||||||
| Eradication | 50 | ||||
| Kill 100 Humanz. | ||||||
| You'll get this achievement while completing the story, just kill 100 Humanz. | ||||||
 | Bloody Mary | 10 | ||||
| Bandage 5 deep bleeding wounds. | ||||||
| After taking enough damage there might pop up a hospital screen on the bodem left with a beeping red line and a countdown below it. When the countdown reaches 0 you die and the only way to fix this is by using a bandage. Use it 5 times and you get this one. | ||||||
Secret Achievements | ||||||
 | Cockpit Addict | 20 | ||||
| Drive all the way down 59th street in Cockpit view. | ||||||
| Start the level up on the 59th Street part and just switch from third person to first person by pressing , now you just have to drive till the end of the level and the achievement will unlock. Don't worry if you die, it still works if you switch your camera angle before you start driving again. | ||||||
 | The Blind Man | 10 | ||||
| Finish the wake up sequence without blinking. | ||||||
| When you first start the game dont blink when you wake up | ||||||
 | Meet Again | 10 | ||||
| Meet Theophile in room 943. | ||||||
| This can be achieved at the start of chapter 6 when you enter room 943. | ||||||
 | Revive | 10 | ||||
| Revive Sarah. | ||||||
| I do not want to go into much detail incase I wreck it for you so here it is; when sarah is injured follow the on screen instructions to save her. | ||||||
 | Stuntman | 10 | ||||
| Jump across the gap using the tow truck. | ||||||
| At the end of chapter 4 you will need to prepare the tow truck by putting down the ramp and raising the bed then ignore sarah and fly up it. | ||||||

| Destroy the Vampirz' nest. | ||||||
| Destroy the nest that attacks you. You can't miss it, it is story related. | ||||||
 | Countdown to Death | 10 | ||||
| Stop your wound from bleeding. | ||||||

| You will achieve this in chapter 8.1 after you burn the tree down and climb down the cliff. To burn the tree you must throw a molotov over the forcefield, to reduce the forcefield you must collect roots and it will go down. | ||||||
