Earn Rank 60 as a Marine

  • How to unlock I Love the Corps!

Reaching level 60 goes pretty fast since progress towards your ranks can be earned through all game modes. One great method for earning XP (aside from completing challenges) is to play a 2 vs. 2 Extermination private match. (Note: host will always be an alien for the 1st round) When you're a marine, each of you take a waypoint to stand in a circle to destroy eggs. Destroy as many as you can before time runs out. By the end of the round, you'll easily have over 1,000 XP earned. As an alien, just chill.

Experience is earned from kills, collectables, completing challenges, match bonuses and campaign chapters completed. Assists are unconfirmed.

Mission 11 (Home) is a great way to rank up too. Complete this mission on Ultimate Baddass for around 2,800 XP. This level is incredibly easy with 2 people, one occupying the queen and the other presses the first 4 buttons. Meet up behind the last button, wait for the queen to get on the path and BAM! Let her have it.

  • I wonder how long this will take. I don't imagine the online community will be booming for too long, if at all. I could be wrong, though.
  • this will take so long if anything i may have to give up a month of CoD and Halo 4 to get to this rank
  • Hope it's not like AVP, where nobody played it much and it would have been a seriously long grind.
  • I think they said in one interview that singleplayer ties in with ur rank somehow
  • I just hope matchmaking is an improvement over AvP. Friends not being able to find each other is complete bullshit.
  • Guys a tip to help make this much easier is to play through the campaign on Ultimate Badass first playthrough on co-op, pretty easy comparing to most games and it will bump you up a lot and then just play the heck out of multiplayer, extermination gives the most overall points in my opinion.
  • Campaign helps, only playing maybe 15 matches, give or take, and halfway through 9th campaign level on ultimate badass, and I'm about level 25ish. Also still hae to go back again and replay the game for achievemnts and collectibles. So shouldn't be THAT difficult. Maybe only grinding half the way perhaps? More so worried about the xenos as those are harder to rank up. Lolz
  • is 60 max lvl ?
  • If you want to boost for this achievement, send me a friend request GT:TheBeefCastle. We will go by doing challenges so that we can get that achievement as well
  • Just play the campaign 2-3 times and you'll reach lvl 60.
  • Me and 2 friends are boosting this in pvt matches whilst going for the challenges. The more players the easier it is so feel free to add me. We're in uk and mornings and early afternoons are best for us. Gone4aDuck
  • A good way to get xp if you're stuck on a challenge or something is to go on the final mission on Ultimate Badass and do that a lot. A couple thousand xp points a time for not a lot. Not really a 'boss' fight.
  • Fastest way was to do the last level where you fight the queen. Coop is easiest if you can but not a have to. Do it on Badass difficulty. 2900Xp and only takes like 5 minutes
  • It takes less than 5, I was surprised at how easy the final boss is... On most games it takes about 30 mins and about 5 attempts but this... just wow!
  • im rank 60 for marines just need 19 more for the aliens if anyone wants to boost ranks up iv found a very quick way to rank up 1 and a half by using finishing moves with aliens so any intrested gt is saintshaun2011
  • i need 5 moreish rank ups on aliens if anyone can assist tht be great
  • Need 11 more ranks on Marines. Anyone willing to help with boosting on last stage, add me. GT: DUDE DIGGL3R
  • anyone want to co-op campaign on UB of do any challenges, im on days and evenings GT AlDoc xg1
  • It takes 234000 exp to hit level 60. The queen fight gives you 2850 exp on ultimate. It appears a kill in the campaign gives you 10 exp (all difficulties), although I'm not sure if there's any 'killstreak' type of reward, and there's some bonus for finishing a level that seems to depend on dufficulty. Statis Interupted doesn't give xp for this. For me, after playing through on normal, hard, then ultimate (I figured I'd need the kills & exp anyway, so why not), I was at level 44 or 45.
