Blood Splatters on Isaac?

Ok I cannot figure out if it was from me being hit or by killing necromorphs in close quarters but my Isaac now has blood splattered on him and its been on for about 5 minutes. I have the elite suit on so it shows really well. I used the scorpion suit the first time so I guess i never noticed it on the red armor.

Anyone notice this? Did i get this how I think i did or does it just show up on him as the game progresses? (kind of like The Apprentice in Force Unleashed gets dirty on his own)

i noticed this while curb stomping. I noticed that his boots became covered in blood also while melee attacking some of the creatures. It could happen either way though, getting hit may cause the blood.

I never noticed myself but if you're curb stomping dead humans alot then that way of been how it got on you but I don't know for sure.

I never even noticed I guess there is just so much blood around lol plus I used the scorpion suite allot on my first few playthroughs.

they finally went away...that answers that! It would be cool if it stayed with you and kept accumulating.

They sure did go to a lot of trouble to make this thing detailed...

One thing I wish they had though...

If you walk through blood, you would leave bloody footprints behind you.

That'd be sweet!

I don't know about blood splatter...but I know that your suit depicts damage until you heal. I had a hole from a Lurker shot in my face piece for about half an hour until I decided to heal up. I'm guessing the blood might be something similar.

I can't believe I played through the entire game and never noticed. And the thing is its one of those things I WOULD'VE noticed because I always like the cool details like that.
Damn I must've been off on this one!
