Re: Caps Glitch

"To get do this, you are going to need the item, “Naughty Nightware”. First, go to Northwest Seneca Station, north of Arefu, in there, you will find an information desk with a body and a holotape thing. Listen to it. It gives you directions on finding the item. It’s actually pretty funny. You need to explore the station until you find a section with a gate and a firehose station. Search inside the firehose box to find a key. Then continue to explore the tunnels until you find a room with a siren-like spinning light above it. Inside, you can use the key to open a safe. There, you will find the Naughty Nightware. You will then encounter someone who wants it back. Either kill him, or use the speech bonus option. Either way, don’t give it back.
Then you want to find a small town called Girdershade (way on the west side of the map and a little south, close to the entrance of Vault 112). Talk to Ronald Laren. He is not hard to find, there are only two people there. Sell him the Naughty Nightware for 200 caps. Now all you need to do is steal it back from him when he is not looking. Save before pickpocketing, incase you fail. Tak to him about the Naughty Nightware again, and you can sell it back for another 200 caps. He does not run out of caps, like other sales people in the game, so you can repeat as many times as you want. The only downside is that each time you steal, you will get negative karma."

This is driving me nuts!! There is nothing in Northwest Seneca Station except the ghoul wants wants me to bring him Sugar Bombs and tunnel access in his lair. There is no information desk, just a vending machine and two restrooms. There is a body when you first go in but there's no holotape near it. What the hell am I missing?

Well im in big town but I dont see Bittercup. I see Pappy and a few others walking around though. Is she in a particular area?

For some reason I could never find her at the same time as the others. I just waited 12 hours (press the Back button) and she seemed to always come out at night time for me. Hope that helps.

Then she will start talking about the guys she's dated. When you go back to Pappy, you'll have that option.

Thank god. Didn't choose the second one. I'm betting that's the problem.

I have level 40 speech, but I only get 50%. It's a pain in the ass not getting 100%.

Give the beggar outside Megaton and Tenpenny Tower some purified water is one way.

Also donating to the church is the best way, make a seperate save, sell everything you own and donate as much as you can, I donated about 600 caps and it only put me to neutral, but I had slaughtered like 20 people and robbed a shedload of stuff.

Im having the same issue with Ronald....... anyone else seen him outside the town ?
Im curious to know if the people here that are missing him too used the black widow perk to get him to scavenge colas for you? even when I talk to the girl she says he hasnt been around for a while

You talk to the creepy girl walking around real alert (forget her name). Then talk to pappy (I believe that's his name) and there will be a speech option that is 100% meaning that it will be a success every time you select it. The glitch is that it should dissapear after you select it, but it doesn't, so you can continue to do this and get continual XP.

It's not as simple as just talking to bittercup. When you get the option to say "I know I am too!" or something like that, it will extend the conversation to where she mentions she dated Pappy. Once you get her to tell you about it, then you can talk to Pappy for the speech option. Also if you don't pick the "I know I am too!, that option disappears and you can't get that part back. I had to reload and start the convo over when I didn't pick that option.

Just curious if multiple exploits of this BIG TOWN speech challenge count towards the Silver Tongued Devil achievement?

Thansk Pashos18 and Suneko...I was thinking this was going to be the most challenging achieve - as I use hacking, lockpicking, sneaking, and pickpocketing to get my quests completed.

Search for the themes on gametrailers, there's an excellent video of all the themes on the Megaton house. Can't remember the name, but I googled it and found it before.

googled it but could only find message boards talking about it,youtube vids of the main theme(dear hearts and gentle people),and info about the fallout 3 themes(e.g adult)

i just tired the trick for getting the speech achivement from Pappy in big town. i have won 123 speech challenges, but yet no achivement has poped. any idea on what to do?

Yeah. I noticed the same thing.
I pickpocketed Gustavo for two keys. I thought that was the reason.

Some glitches I've noticed:
I've slaved a woman from Tenpenny's house (Ms. Lancaster or smth). Then went to slavers and killed them all and set free all the slaves including those I've made into slaves myself. Slaves went away. But when I turned back most of them are standing by their barracs again. They say "I'm outta here" but don't go away. As for Ms. Lancaster she went back to Tenpenny's, but won't talk to me about Ghouls or anything else when needed. She can only thank me for freeing her (though I made her a slave in the first place which is kinda awkward). Thus the only way to peacefully let Ghouls in was to kill her...

Everytime I attack the kid he wakes up and runs away, and I don't get any experience?

i sell the cells, later i steal the guy, but i can't steal again :S, because he caought me, and i tried it like 10 times and always say the same :S
how i do that?
