For the Spending spree achievement a small tip/suggestion:
go to Office - Staff Upgrades and upgrade the negotiator to 10. Will help you successfully buying players

The Living Legend description could do with amending. I simmed all of the four seasons, only to then lose in the semi final of the International Cup and that was it- game finished. People should play the International Cup themselves if they want a better chance of winning, because presumably you only get this achievement by winning the cup.

I had simmed most of the international cup matches and reloading if I lost, but in the end had to play and win the final to get the legend, as like you said losing in the semi wasn't enough.

Upload a video to EA sports football world.

Really simple, start any match and play for a few minutes. After about 5 minutes, press Start. From here go to Instant Replay and let it load up, re-wind the video to the start and then press the button, choose a slot for it to go in and wait for it to upload, once it gets to 100%, the achievement will pop up.

Upload 5 screenshots to EA Sports™ football world.

This is simple, when you start any match (apart from xbox live games), just play for a few seconds, then pause the game by pressing . Go to "Instant Replay", and press in to take a screenshot. Once it has uploaded, keep uploading the same screenshot until you've done it 5 times, once the 5th one uploads, the achievement should unlock.

Both of these can be achieved in the Arena too. Just booted up the game and remembered I'd not got these yet, so I tried to do it from the Arena, works For those wanting points super fast on FIFA 09, there's a super easy 20g.

Provider - 10
Perform a cross for a friend who scores from it (co-operative achievement).

The easiest way to do this is to get a friend to use a second controller, set up an exhibition match, and both move your controller to the same side.
Once it starts, you win the ball and run down the wing. When neccersary, cross the ball in to your friend () and get him to score. If it doesn't work, just keep trying until your friend manages to score.
If you have one, you can have a 3rd controller control the team your playing against and just leave it, and you can also bing the keeper out with that 3rd controller if it helps.
This can also be done in be-a-pro mode, and be-a-pro mode online, but I think that the person you boost it with online has to be on your friends list. Im not 100% sure on that though.

If doing this offline, does the second controller have to be signed in into a profile?

I just couldn't seem to unlock this using your Man Utd team guide, even played over 1 and a half seasons, never signed for me, 'team's a step down' apparently. Got it first attempt with my method:

Chose Inter Milan instead and opt for L. Messi (using the same criteria to find him as above). He'll gladly sign on the dotted line first attempt.

The Peterson - 1
Play for 50 hours.

Self explanatory, just play Fifa 09 for 50 hours. When doing this you must play and complete matches. Therefore you cannot just leave you xbox on overnight to boost the time played. The hardest yet lowest achievement, just keep playing, it'll come.

Just as an FYI really, you can see exactly how many minutes you've played on the pitch by going to:
My FIFA 09 ==> FIFA 09 Profiles ==> My Stats ==> My Matches.

Then just make sure it's on the "My Matches" & "Form" screen, it's the default start page, and the bottom right has 'Minutes Played'. 3000mins = 50hrs.

Nothing major, just a nice addition IMO.

When i try to update the screenshot to the EA SPORTS website, it won't let me and it reads "EA Sports website is currently unavailable. Please try again later"

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem please

A tip for all those going for petersen as i got a lot of msgs about it

Yes the combined is stuck on 100 i dont know why that is but who cares

And heres how i got it the easy way

Plug in two controllers and let the game go draw and choose penalty shootout.

Now when you leave both controllers, the players will start shooting after a couple seconds and they will always shoot in the middle and the keeper will save those shots.

Now just let your console run overnight or watch TV or something

Right, now I haven't had a Fifa game for years so im kinda behind on the Online Leagues and so on
Can anybody elaborate in detail on how to get the online league acheivements and also Duo-Hedgeidecimal - 50

Im kinda stuck on these from purely not really understanding how to operate the online features.

I have been on I.League but I can't see anywhere I can search for games, only leaderboards as such

Help is much appreciated

so the time still counts when your in at a shoot-out? ive been doing it the same way as you but just re-matching

First of all, you'll need to join an online club, check the boosting thread, there's probaly a few who need extra players. From there, just sort it out with the owner of the club.

So many people wondering how to get Diving Header. My suggest is : Use Drogba !! This guy tries to do diving headers more than anyone. I played match with England.. no one even tried, also tried with ManU still nothing. Then i played with Chelsea and im in shock ! Drogba scores from the first cross with a diving header. I admit it looks weird but damn, he did another one in that game too. I dont know how random the diving header really is but i guess very random. Many people got this achievement with Drogba though so you might try it aswell.
