If you are missing something from your Collector's Book or have any information to add to this thread, please use this thread to ask for help/discuss! Thanks. NOTE: I am still working on this, getting the synthesis requirements and whatnot listed. I just wanted to get this out there so you at least know what you're missing. Filling the collector's book takes a full playthrough and at the very least the start of an EX New Game. Make sure to do every side-quest in full. Use this walkthrough for those. Once you start an EX New Game, make sure to bring over all your records and books, and try to buy the perk that doubles item drop rates. You need to synthesize a ton of these items, so the extra drops surely help. Furthermore, make sure you do not sell ANYTHING. It may be tempting to get some extra Gald in the beginning of the game, but since you really shouldn't be worrying about the collector's book on your first playthrough anyway (focus on the side-quests and enjoying the game), make sure to keep everything as it will be used to synthesize something else later. Another tip if you can afford it is to buy at least two of every weapon you come across and make sure you buy at least one for sure in every shop, on every visit to said shop. Some shops upgrade their stock throughout the game making it hard or in some cases impossible to get a weaker weapon if you missed it and a lot of these you will need two of to make a +1a and a +1b weapon variant. Again, since you will need a second playthrough most likely, transfer your Gald and you should have no problem with this. For this list, I tried to note either where to buy, how to synthesize, what chest to find it in or what quest gives it (specifically which part of the quest), as well as who uses the weapon and what skills come equipped on/can be learned from the weapon. This way if you're looking for Taunt for Yuri, you can simply search this page for Taunt until you find a sword or axe that Yuri can use with that skill. If there are no skills listed, there are no skills on the item. If there is no method to obtain it listed, then it was probably in a chest and I don't remember where. If you can provide any of this missing info it would be appreciated. If the item is from a quest, I have included the name of the quest according to the sub-event guide linked in the first paragraph of this post. Again, be sure to follow that religiously to save yourself a lot of trouble.
