10. Laser Designator Kills on Helicopters

In the rare chance that you hit a helicopter in the air, or on the ground, usually it will claim they ran over themselves instead of giving you the kill credit. Not that annoying because killing a helicopter with that weapon is rare.

9. Double Connection Errors

This glitch can be seen whenever you get two error prompts while joining a server. This usually comes up after hours of playing, and requires you to restart the disc. This wouldn't be so annoying if getting back to the multiplayer menu didn't take minutes and several button presses.

8. Plants/Shrubs absorb bullets

Absolutely absurd. I have intense difficultly explaining how this glitch could go unnoticed. Who has ever heard of plants absorbing bullets? However, has saved my butt a number of times.

7. Grey Laser Designator Screen

Experienced Laser Designators have probably seen this. After doing your missile, the HUD remains, but all you can see is grey. You can move, but what's the point? Suicide time. Happens randomly, on average every 50 times or so (though once I got it three times in an hour), but doesn't occur so frequently enough that it makes you want to smash things.

6. Stationary Vehicles shielding damage

When you shoot people at certain angles (>90 degrees from their front?) on their stationary weapons it won't kill them. Even though you can fully see their bodies or heads, there's an invisible wall over them. Try sniping the guy on the artillery when you're 90 or more degrees from where he is facing.

5. Running yourself over in your own vehicle

Honestly, does there even exist a single game where this can happen? And it happens. Too much. If you're at full throttle in a vehicle like the buggy, the boat, the humvee and the tank, when you press B and jump out you often mysteriously die. It doesn't count as a suicide, but it doesn't say on screen what happened either.

4. Headshot Glitch

This one is similar to #6, and speaking of which, the stationary weapons often shield headshots too. Anyways, this one is easy to spot because there are times where the only part of an enemy's body visible is the head.

3. Class Revert

You're playing as a certain class, say, Support, you die, and when you go to spawn, it has switched to Assault with the first weapon in the list. This glitch happens frequently, requiring you to check each and every time you spawn to make sure you're the proper class.

2. Preferred Map not working

This glitch is perfectly understandable, otherwise the map you selected might be full and give you a connection error. Oh wait, that already happens. There is no excuse whatsoever for picking End of the Line and getting Final Ignition.

1. Crouched Movement

Absolutely the worst, as far as I'm concerned. Veteran snipers will recognize this glitch. When a crouched player is moving, something happens to their hit detection that makes the bullet go right through them.

Other quirks:

Black screen after laser designating in boat

Huh? Not too annoying because getting out of the boat fixes it.

Vehicles Blowing Up When Base moves ahead

This one wouldn't be so bad if they at least left behind a weak buggy or something for transportation. Who likes walking or even swimming from the first Attacking base to the second on End of the Line?

Boat Backing Up

Why do the boats go ridicuously slow when going backwards? No other vehicle is even remotely this slow when doing so.

Helicopter Damage

Why do helicopters completely explode when grazing just a single stationary object?

Nearly Invisible Structures

On the map End of the Line, easily the best of the helicopter maps, there are a couple radio towers and the crane which are next to impossible to see when in the pilot's cockpit view. Were these objects put in for show or for helicopters to hit?

Out of Map Time

C'mon, 5 seconds? Did anyone test this at all? Do the developers have any idea how difficult it is to turn around a helicopter in that time?

Final Ignition Area

There is an area on the second defense base of Final Ignition that is easy to fall into and impossible to get out of.

Fall Damage

Why does falling off one story often drain me of over 25 health? Worse, this can happen in water too. There's an area in Over and Out and End of the Line where you jump into the water and it can even result in a suicide with full health.

What really gets me about all these things is that this game actually went through a beta period, and was delayed repeatedly. A patch came out with Conquest mode that fixed almost nothing, except for the respawn C4 thing.

A headshot/chest shot with a .50 Cal Sniper Rifle not killing a bastard.

Some glitches i havent noticed,
The one about the 5seconds out of map thing
Isnt just annoying for helecopters.
I Hate it when they put it too close to a base,
And your following the wall arround sprinting,
Then it takes u about 2seconds to stop spritning
and turn arround, By the time youve done that
You have only like 3seconds to run back.

The boat reversing i havent noticed, But i never
see boats reversing in real life, So I think bouts
just reverse slowly normaly?


Theres alot of Glitches i hate in this game, i dont think
to remember them, But yeah they are just annoying.
Like i hate when you shoot that rocket from the white
kinda rocket turrent on floor? And u can controll the rocket.
BUt you controll it with the same stick that you aim where your
going to fire it, So you cant see where the rocket goes becoz your moving the aim arround too much D;

Also, You sometimes get spawning vechals that are already
blown up, They could of atleast spawned one that works

C4 not sticking to anything, you see it stick to a tank but when they drive away the c4 blows up where they were not on the tank...

What's really annoying me isn't actually a glitch in the game, but EA not sending me the E-mail to finish linking my GT to my EA account. I finally got my Windows Live ID and my e-mail stuff straight so I am able to receive e-mails again and will be able to get the gun (F2000) if EA sends me my e-mail. I got my BF2 to work so I have status 1 with BF1942 and BF2 added. God I hope EA gets their shit together and sends me my confirmation e-mail, then I won't ever care again for EA. Lol.

Also theres the one where you run into a room behind an enemy and it'll sling shot you in like you were fired from a catapult. Straight in front of the said enemy. This one seems to be hapening to me on a much more regular basis than when i first started playing. C'mon EA get a grip.

I had to pick End of the Line 8 or 9 times before I finally got it.
And sometimes the fight is almost over.

I currently haven't had any of those glitches, except for the bush one, but it's saved my life.

I like no scoping random noobs that rush up to you so they can knife you in that bush and BLAM, they go down. <33
