You're unlucky, it should unlock the moment the ball hits the net after hitting or shifting the post/crossbar.

I know its hit the post bcos the controller shakes and i heard the dink from the ball hitting it.
Looks like i'm gonna have to keep trying

How do you get the "Sell a player for 50 million" achievement? The player that costs the most seems to be Ronaldo but he is only worth 41 million.

Start a new Manager Mode, change your currency to Dollars, play as Man Utd and put Ronaldo on the transfer list, he's worth $75million, easily nets you the achievement

Just so you know, also a bicycle kick achievement is actuality really easy, simply cross it into some one that has his back to goal, and then aim towards the goal and press b, i done this in my first match and that and the on the volley one, where my first 2 achievements

Just to let you know, for the 64 and 16 team tournaments, you can turn off autosave, sim all matches and if you lose reload your save

anyone can tell me how i can get the achievement for buying a player fpr 50 million?
All i see are, players that are worth 5 million euro, where are the expensive ones?

your best bet is to buy in dollars as you get more value that way but regardless you go into transfer central, then transfer market and select search, then a detailed search type and then change the minimum attributes from 5 to 90 and that way you will have the 5top players to choose from and make a bid of 50million for them and hope it gets accpeted.

Lucky !

I've only ever bicycle kicked once and it hit the post
and only diving headered once and it was disallowed for offside
..and to make things worse it would have got me "THE KWONG" achievement aswell.

The Kwong - Score a headed goal with the shortest created player.

The Poon Sang - Win with a team of 11 created players in an unranked LIVE match.

The 1gs one is rumoured to be - PLAY FOR 50 HOURS
and there is also one for winning a club match

Whoa. It took me 100+ hours to get 1000g in FIFA08. Winning 100 games online at 15 minutes a game roughly = 25 hours which doesn't include the ones you lose. Then there was all the management ones, zone challenges etc....

But anyway, Looks like FIFA09 can be done in a lot less time, and the achievements look like a lot of fun. Because to be honest, 08 was a huge grind to try and get that 100th win online. I was so sick of it by the end even with a little boosting to get me over the line. :P

Has anyone got the sign 50 players achievement yet? I've been playing through manager mode and I've signed well over 50 players, over 5 seasons, from scouting, free agents, transfer listed players and normal signing. Im wondering whether one or more of these types of signings don't count.

You cant play a club match unless you have 3 club members playing.

So you would need 6 people to boost.

Rough guess:

Check your stats -> minutes played. I don't know if the arena mode, buying and selling players in manager mode etc. counts towards the achievement.

No that doesnt count.Only the minutes you played on the pitch.

I have 2190 minutes if i combine both single and online and let my console run 20 hours overnight and no achievement so far

Got it on my 3rd season, free agents don't count as the achievement says BUY
