Zaphias: Outside Yuri's house in the Lower Quarter.
Zaphias: Outside your prison cell in the jails.
Zaphias: Inside the castle on the way to Flynn's room.
Zaphias: In the Royal Quarter.
Deidon Hold: As soon as you enter.
Quoi Woods: In a clearing about halfway through.
Halure: At the Inn.
Aspio: Inside the big Library.
Shaikos Ruins: In the second section in the big room where the boss is.
Ehmead Hill: On the Beast Trail, just before the wolf boss.
Capua Nor: At the Inn.
Capua Nor: Outside Ragou's mansion, to the left.
Capua Torim: At the Inn.
Caer Bocram: Use the first teleporter to move forward, then go in the basement.
Heliord: At the Inn.
Dahngrest: At the Inn.
Forest of Keiv Moc: Halfway through in a small clearing.
Forest of Keiv Moc: Just before the boss.
Ghasfarst: Inside the room your break out of (go right back in).

Enduring Shrine of Zaude: Just before the vent on the right side of the entrance.
Enduring Shrine of Zaude: In the hallway before the first boss.

Erealumen Crystallands: South of the first ice bridge where you meet Nan.
Erealumen Crystallands: Just south of the boss.
Relewiese Hollow: In a clearing halfway down where you meet Duke.
Relewiese Hollow: At the bottom, just outside the cave.
Northeast Hypionia/Aurnion: At the makeshift camp/outside the Inn of the finished town. (NOTE: You may need to save here before, during and after the town is built. I probably used them all, but I don't remember)
The Ancient Tower Tarqaron: Outside after the golden ball puzzle.
The Ancient Tower Tarqaron: Just before the long stairs to the final boss.

NOTE: There may be another save point in the Blade Drifts of Zopheir. The SP changed locations when I went back there to investigate the Aer Krene, so I am not sure if it counts as a new SP or not. If you don't get the achievement after using all of the above, try that one. Also, I don't know if the one for NE Hypionia/Aurnion are separate as well, make sure to use it before and after the town is built.

Bump for a question. Is it possible to go back to any save points you missed early on (like the one in the Royal Quarter for example).

Some yes, some no.

The one outside Ragou's mansion is no longer accessible, the one in Aspio obviously at the end disappears, the two in Sands of Kogorh... maybe more, I can't remember exactly. If someone could let me know for sure which ones I'll mark them off in another color or something.

Any reason why you think that? None of them are out of the way at all. They are pretty much all located directly on the main path of the dungeons or just before bosses...

Firstly, I don't think images are necessary. None of the save points are "hidden" in any way.

Secondly, I am at the end of the game (pre-tower). I started running down your list to make sure I hit all of the save points. I didn't get very far, but I was surprised at how many were missing by the end of the game. More than I would have thought.

I only got to Capua Nor before my ADHD had me chasing Gigantos and synthing grade farming equipment for Rita, but so far, these were no longer available at endgame.

[EDIT] Okay, I'm done. I went down the list in the first post. The following savepoints become unavailable at some point before you are able to enter Tarqaron Tower:

Zaphias: Outside your prison cell in the jails.
Zaphias: Inside the castle on the way to Flynn's room.
Aspio: Inside the big Library.
Capua Nor: Outside Ragou's mansion, to the left.
Forest of Keiv Moc: Just before the boss.

I'll probably run through the rest of the list tonight before I wrap up my first play, so I'll update this post with any others that I find.

This one is available before going to Zaude, though. So different saves disappear at different times it seem. The one outside the Castle, for example, disappears then reappears.

Man...Secret Mission 17 is seriously holding me up. I'm gonna have to level up to about 55-57 before I am strong enough to do it. Or lower it to Easy to beat it. But then I'd miss the Grade gain. Sigh. Choices suck.

I planned on it. I'm pushing 70 hours right now and I'm not even at the final area. I plan on getting Cooking Master, and the Fell Arms before I begin challenging it. I thought I'd be done with this game by now, but I've definitely spent a lot longer on it than my first playthrough in Symphonia which was my first Tales game (and my favorite...until now).

I only get it after use the savepoint with the city totaly rebuild (I saved 3 times: camp, city and city rebuild)

Hey i followed this guide exactly crossing off every save point as soon as i used it and didnt get Back up Plan, the only thing i can think of is if saving in aurnion after you beat the game counts, can someone tell me if it does?

I can confirm that the other Blade Drifts one is a separate save sphere as that was my last one and I got the first one my first pass through.

Just a quick note to the Aurnion save point. I had saved there when the town was first established and then kept on playing the game. I thought I got them all and had no achievement. Once I finidhed the rebuilding Aurnion quest, I immediately saved there any my achievement unlocked.

I guess pre-built and post-built Aurnion count as different saves.

I am already about 10 hours in the game but I am not sure if I got these two save points:

Zaphias: Inside the castle on the way to Flynn's room.
Zaphias: In the Royal Quarter.

I think I got the first one but cannot remmeber the second one. Is there a chance I will come back and get these later in the game or am I screwed?
