Current Poll...

I think this would go here, seeing as it is on the home page. Sorry if it's in the wrong place.

Anywho, looking at the current poll I am disgusted. You have left out some options that many people would consider. One being the obvious 'Other' for people who don't agree with the other options. The second, and technically multiple one, is some of the titles of games that deserve to be there.

Some of these examples are 'Saints Row 2' which in my opinion should be up there definitely. Another few good games coming out this year is 'Mercenaries 2', 'Tom Clancy's EndWar', 'CoD: World at War' and 'Prince of Persia'.

I'm sorry if this seems rude, but if you want more people to participate in your polls, add more options people would consider. Not just games that you can't wait for.

You don't have to join in the polls, if you don't agree with the options then just dont pick one?

OK, they probably don't wanna list 25 games and plus it is just a poll. It is not like it is a whole important section on the site. Just be happy there even is a poll. Also, if you did not like any of the options, then don't pick one, easy as that.

I know, but I read somewhere else that they use these polls for obtaining info on the users they get, or something like that. So I'm just saying, that if they want more people to vote, add an 'Other' option.

But the admins want to know which is the most anticipated game from those selected, they don't really care about other titles.

So they expect people to pick from those games.

First of all, we only changed the poll quickly cos everyone wanted it done.

Second, these are the biggest games coimg out this year in terms of hype. Not being funny, Mercanaries may be a good game, but no-one is going to talk about it as a Game of the Year, unlike the rest. Prince of Persia, maybe but not as likely.

The bit about us using it for marketing- somehow I don't think advertisers will care which of those games is your favourite as opposed to more relavant information like age/education etc.

However, when you can only hvae 6 options, to take one for 'others' is a lot. If you don't agree, then don't vote. iT's impossible for us to keep every single person happy. For example, there's no Tiger on the poll either, and that's going to piss on Mercenaries
