Okay, my buddy's account has already beaten the game on hard. I started a new game on hard and switched to my profile before you even got control of the characters (during cut scene). I am playing it on hard now without beating normal. Will I get the achievement for beating it on hard by doing this?
Also he has the Hero-Villain pack. Can I use it as well?

Yes it should work. I think you only have to beat the last level on Hard to get the achievement.

But can I use his downloaded content (characters) and play on my gamertag? I don't know what I have to do because I can't even play them when I am him... yet I have the pack

I'm kind of confused on what you're trying to say here..

Basically, you have to have the Download Content pack that you paid for personally on your 360 to get the achievements. You may be able to play as the characters, but the achievements are linked to your profile.

Be a bit more specific then I might be able to help you out more :]

Essentially I am a cheap bastard who doesn't want to download the content pack myself since my roommate did it on his profile so I was wondering if there was a way to use it on my profile which is on the same HDD
