How do i change the email address linked to my gamertag?

Hello, my gamertag is set up on my old email-address/live ID. It was a proper email address but i had made it a live ID as well under the same address. i have forgot the password of that email address so i can never look at my mail again, so i can never see if microsoft send me any e-mails

How can i change my E-mail address linked to my LIVE ID?
How can i change my E-mail address linked to my GAMERTAG?
How can i make a new Live ID under the address of my new E-mail address instead of something@live.com?
How can i change ID's My gamertag is asociated to?

You should be able to change the email address linked to your gamercard via your account options on the dashboard.

Have you tried answering your secret question thing to obtain your email password?

I just had to do the same thing last week, and yes it can be done. Just have to go through your acct settings in the xbox.

In Account Management you can change the Live ID linked with your Gamertag.

Ok fair enough must have been in an update as me and my friend tried doing, although it was 18 months ago and ms told us both it cant be done.
