Corrupted game?

It's stopping/crashing when i finish training / tournament when it updates/saves once you click A to go back to player menus.
i actually have to turn the 360 off then back on again

is the file somehow been corrupted and i have to start all over again?
im so gutted if it has, i'm almost 3 seasons in!!!
