I think that the Les Paul is probably the most widely used among the elite, although with the release of GHWT I'm not so sure.

I personally love the GHWT guitar. Bigger strum bar, more heft, and if you use the back button for star power it's in perfect place now.

EDIT: And I just used the GHWT guitar to get this achievement! \m/

JUST got 325,300 points. Whew, what a relief. For the record I did it on the Xplorer.

Here are my tips:
* Use just a little bit of PAM on the buttons... "like buttah"
* Do NOT listen to the lyrics... focus on the guitar (sometimes in the background). He doesn't sing exactly with the rhythm and it will mess you up on the chord parts.
* You need ~120k at the "drum break" to make it. If you don't have it, that's a good time to restart.
* Good luck! You can deewww it!

I just got it on my third attempt, 331k I got, wasn't even trying for it in this run really. It's not as hard as I thought! My high score was 222k 10 minutes ago.

it actually can be done on hard
you have to get atleast 98% to 100% using every SP to your advantage
make sure you memorize the song and specific places that get troublesome (correct spelling?)
once you get that down, you'll get it

This is not possible on hard, go onto the leaderboards on the game and a guy named berrymyles has 328,843 on train kept a rollin on hard. But he has no$$ score hero achievement have a look for yourself.

I just wanted to state, on the record, that i hate this song and this achievement.

My best is 274K. Once I FC'd the entrire first half of the song, but completely blew it after that.

For whatever reason, I always screw up during the all important middle verses with the chords. I don't understand why I can't hit them consistantly. Sigh...

No. It's impossible for it to be done on hard. On the leaderboards the highest score for hard is something like 290,000. Best done on Expert.

Hey, im relatively good at this game but i cant seem to find a good star power path through this song in order to get 325k. (currently only hitting 280k where i use SP).

could somebody please post a note chart which shows where to rock, or if possible jst give a quick breakdown of where to use it! thx -

So I've seen a lot of talk about "using an optimal star path" and whatnot. However, unless I missed it, I haven't seen anyone actually describe the star path they used. I think a good star path is the one bit setting my apart from the 30 GS. Off the top of my head, I believe my top score was between 305k and 315k. Anyone have any recommendations?

this achievement isnt that hard. its not a hard song, just practice the song over and over if you have trouble with it, if you have problems with a certain section practice it more. i got it on the first try but thats because ive been playing a long time

Uh Actually this achievement is extremely hard! Only like 10,000 people have it of the millions listed on the leaderboards. So say 3 million scores are listed (each representing a gamertag) then only the top 0.03% have this achievement! Don't say its not that hard cuz it is.

Can't be done on hard, I 100% with a pretty good star power path and topped at 309k, not too hard if you practice it for a good half hour though (assuming you can beat the game on expert) so just remember to not give up and keep working at it It will come with time

Ughhhh 320k and 316k in 2 runs, I have the chords down easy but then I completely screw up a solo or something >_< What a headache but yeah tried again on hard and just to confirm yet again....you cannot get it. I FC'ed 3x in a row and tried different star power paths, never broke 300k so don't even bother trying to do it on hard.
