The first version is the Run DMC version so Aerosmith wanted to put the original in as well I guess and all 3 of those songs are great.

I know they're different versions. I'm just sayin with only a total of 40 tracks, do we need 2 versions of the same song when they could've added any other track. And I'm sorry but mtv ruined 'rag doll and 'love in an elevator for me years ago. I've always grown tired of whatever single they release. It's different now with itunes and XM radio, but back in the 80's and 90's with FM radio and music videos regurgitating the same songs over and over again, they got old quick. In my opinion neither of those songs were the best tracks on their respective albums. 'Rag doll was on Permanent Vacation and I always liked 'Heart's done time, 'Permanent vacay or even 'Dude looks like a lady(though it was recycled as much as 'rag doll) a hell of lot more. 'Love in an elevator was on Pump and I liked 'The other side and 'Don't get mad, get even off that album.
I just plain don't like 'Pink in any respect. I've always considered that to be a teeny-boppin pop song. It doesn't help that Pump was the last Aerosmith album i dug anyway. And where is 'Last child, that's one of my favorite tracks of theirs', it was on GH2(cover version), why not throw the master recording on this game

Dude thought this was a thread about how they have two versions of one song not what song blows. Why did you put the title as "Do we really need two versions of "walk this way?" ON TOPIC: Personally they should have removed the RunDMC one. That one sucks. Then we would have had maybe a song that people have been complaining about how they should be on there.

Simple answer, "No we don't need to versions." I personally thought that the bonus songs were a waste... Just my $0.02.

I guess they needed them in order to reach the 1000 achievement point marker. (Having us buy all the songs and play all of them to boot).

DMC is a rap band. They dont belong in this game, even though they played with Aerosmith. Do we need King of Rock? No. Rap in GH is the downfall for the series. It doesnt fit. At first I thought the DMC version was the only one, I was mad. Walk This Way is great, when it is Aerosmith.
