could it be me or are you missing 2 weapons?? cause i count 27 instead of 29
Is 1 of those weapons the M95? If so, check out CROSSING OVER level as you can find it in that level. A few post up this was discussed as well so you can find it there as well. I had it listed on the map but it is now in text under weapons.
I am not sure why it is not listed in the count for collectibles but it is a collectible you need. I'm pretty damn sure it isn't something I miss counted or anything either. I had plans to update the post just didn't get time to yet, it has been updated now though as I said.
Can you reply the 2nd weapon you are missing? I'm double checking everything again right now myself so I may find it, if there is one at all, by the time you post again. I'll post again if there is and I do find it.
Update: I double checked from the weapon list in-game and was able to find every weapon listed in-game in the my locations guide. This includes updated M95 details. So just do a CTRL-F or CMD+F on the page and type the weapon you are missing.
I'm having trouble finding the PKM. The only thing at the X is the AK which almost all the Russians use. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Great guide!!
I'm actually fixing that shortly as well. I forgot to write it down above the picture for it to be clearer. I wrote in the AEK971 to represent the X so it wouldn't be confused with the PKM.
I picked up the PKM on the soldiers right in that same area the X is in. I'm going to quickly play this part again to see if it's a common weapon they carry.
Can anyone help verify how many collectibles are in CROSSING OVER? Is it 6 or 7? I'm pretty sure it is 6 as I have an early screenshot of it saying 6 but I can't remember, tried, if I took it after having acquired a weapon as I used a later screenshot of the map for obvious purposes.
I am just trying to figure out if I came across the M95 early in the game to where it takes the count off of an upcoming map.
It already has been posted where you can find it and it's been on the map in CROSSING OVER (at the end of the level) the entire time but I just want to make sure and possibly post which map it will be acquired from (if I am right as it makes sense too) it can actually be acquired from if you don't come across it early. (If that's the case)
"It is a curious thing...but perhaps those who are best suited to power are those
who have never sought it. Those who have leadership thrust upon them, and take
up the mantle because they must, find to their own surprise that they wear it well."
new article on IGN about the locations of the collectibles. if you didn't wan to try and decipher the pictures there. here's the link
Decent article. Not to what so ever talk bad about the article or intend too. You can find weapons in earlier levels which they did not mention. For example, yes, you can find the SCAR in level 2 but you will also find it in level 1 which they don't mention. And they have not finished their gold bar findings as of this post either.
Plus I think most the time people want pictures or videos as, maybe just my opinion, you will find things a lot faster then reading text and trying to figure it out. Not saying text doesn't help, it certainly does when you add it to pictures and/or videos. Just saying. Like I already said, not talking bad about the article. Whatever helps people find the locations in the end is good.
Also moose0003, you still never answered me back on how this is very confusing? Even since then changes have been made as I have finished the game so I am able to concentrate on making the guide even better.
UPDATE TO PAR FOR THE COURSEPKM location has been fixed. So for those having trouble at all finding it in this level from soldiers, you can now easily find at at the statue at the end of the level before entering the palace. See guide with screenshots on the first page for more help.
cheers mate good guide, but i think this is gonna take me a while to figure it all out because there is a lot to get in this game.
It is actually not as bad as it seems. You should get them all, if not most weapons, in one play through by just picking them up as you play through each level.
By picking up, I mean not by only by soldiers (it's rare for soldiers to carry most of these weapons) but by each X marked on the mapped because most of them are on your path to completing the level.
Just found something interesting. As I said in the last post, I just left the last collectable (870MCS) because there's no picture of it.
So, in the second level, you listed only 1 collectable, and in my case, there was 2. So, just near the 3rd golden bar, there it was the 870MCS. I collected, saved a checkpoint, and quit game. Just checked the first mission, and yes, there's no collectable left to pick.
With this, I released that the collectables are dinamic from missions, so if you missed one in a mision, you can grab later. The weapons are also classiefied as rare ou comum and stuff like that to keep us in mind.
So, if in the guide it says there's a number of collectable left, it can be wrong so some players, just beacause this dynamic form of collecting.
So, if you can't take a picture from the first mission for the 870MCS, you can go to the spot I report and take there.

I know about the collectibles being able to be collected in other levels. I have said this here and there (not intend to sound like a dick). But not every level has every single the weapons listed here either. I also did my best (as shown in screenshots grey text) to list other weapons. Soldiers will always (not 100% sure but pretty sure) will different weapons when you load the level.
Thanks for your addition though.
I have since updated the WELCOME TO BAD COMPANY Weapons part, I already had it finished just didn't get to updating it yet.
Amazing guide! Definitely needs a sticky! Hope you don't mind me sharing it over on the Xbox.com forums, I gave you all credit.

Hey man this guide rocks but I'm having trouble finding the last 5 gold bars, maybe you can make a map with dots on it?
I'm sure you probably got it by now but yea, I need to add that so it makes it even easier for people to find it. People were wanting the last few gold bars right away so I was quickly just adding the screenshots of them and the area.

I don't mind as long as credit is given. Only other problem with it though is updating it. If you wouldn't mind a PM from me next time I update it and I'll fill you in? If you are even able to update it at the Xbox forums after post (not sure if they have an edit time limit?). Thanks.
I have spent an hour looking around for the g'damn M95 and I STILL CANT FIND IT!
Someone please either gimme specific directions or post a picture
I will be able to do this a little later and even to confirm it myself that it is always there. I helped 4 people with the M95 the messaged me and they had no problem finding the M95 where I located it on the map.
Look at the map again. It's in the CROSSING OVER level at the end of the level. It is in a tower which is down the ramp to the right after the last checkpoint (red smoke to regroup). It's just a wooden tower not a building tower type structure or anything similar the game has.
Like I said, I will be able to go take a screenshot of the location and verify once again personally that it's spawns there, it was glowing when I went there and others I helped had no problem either so I'm pretty sure it's always there.
I wish I remembered or would of wrote down upcoming levels that the M95 is in. Since I am playing it again on Hard hopefully I come across it to do that.
Nice guide I'm using it with the other one and they are both helpful. However ... I wonder if I have a glitch; I have yet to see one of those acta non verba signs. In these screenshots I see them but in my game I haven't seen one in the exact same places or even anywhere around them. Anybody else?
EDIT: Well freakshows post made me think maybe difficulty makes a difference but I am talking about normal for me .. was this guide made on easy?

Thank you so much for this! Made it that much easier for me...granted I missed the very last gold box, but since I had to beat it on normal too I still got it.
Also for ^^^: I didn't see the signs either on most of the places on Hard, but saw them on Normal. Don't know if that matters.

I have an update to the M95 location. Sadly, you will not always find it in Crossing Over. I have updated the post with some additional information if you wanted to check it out if you need to play that level again and want to give it a chance to find the M95.
I just wish I could of remembered a default location in another map that it spawns all the time in at the X locations. I just can't, I am already going back and beating the levels on Hard and looking at the X locations to find that. It's definitely not on the first 4 levels. As snipers don't show up till level 3 and I already have beat level 4 on Hard and looked at all the X locations for it.
So I'll check Ghost Town and hopefully find something because I really only checked the X weapon locations at the beginning of the level.
I did come across the M95 twice though in the game but they were off of soldiers and I think the 2nd time was in Ghost Town. Almost sure about that as Air Force One I know I didn't get it and you are in the heli 90% of the time and Crash and Grab I'm pretty sure I used another sniper rifle I found.
If anyone can remember a possible X weapon location in a level or part of the map for that level they remember seeing it at. That would be helpful so I can go capture some screenshots. 99.9% I didn't miss it in the levels I already played but you never know I guess. Thanks. Sorry for this.
I found an alternative Location for the M95. On the Crash and Grab level, the FIRST WAYPOINT on your map is a small building, withn this buildng you can find the M95 which sits atop the regular crates (X on the minimap)

Super thanks for this. I remember now that I missed these 2 X's because of the soldiers outside after the cutscene and then I ended up going to the river and finding the other weapons so I never came back here. I was just about to start Ghost Town and look then afterwards try Crash and Grab.
Thanks again. Pictures will be up in the next 15 minutes and everything updated. Again. Thanks DardoJS89.
