I know this has already been posted but no one seems to be replying to them anymore so thought i would do a new one.
How on earth do i beat this game without dying?
I have played all the way thru three times now and have 80,000 exp and 950pts but always die on Sam Jackson at least once on lv 3/4.
And also on the last boss and keep missing the last achievement for not dying.
Ive read posts about facing the wall in the boss room to the left of the door and it does not work for me.
Also do i need to turn the hole 360 off when i die or can i hit start quit and just go back to the last part of the game and try again HELP!!!
there is no point in opening a another thread with the same question as other threads. I understand your frustrated but there isnt a need to open another thread with the same questions. Just keep trying and trying. Practice makes perfect. I know how you feel though, I felt the same way in COD4 with the veteran achievements lol. after trying the same level 10000 times i finally got it. I havent played this game is a while but the only advice i can give you is block or dodge constantly (if you can, i dont remember lol) and only attack when you know for sure you can get a hit in without him countering or leaving yourself open for an attack. other than that, thats all i can tell you from now, maybe someone else will have alittle more insight or better advice
Just don't get too close to Samuel and run in and hit him when you get a chance. You're stressing it way too much and making the achievement much harder than it needs to be.

Just quit back to your dash, i died a couple of times on samuel but just quit back to my dash and got it with no probs at all!
I haven't unlocked this achievement yet, since I was unsuccessful with the Dashboard trick had a scheduling conflict and had to return it early. But I DO have some helpful advice that allowed me to reach level 4 from a new game in under 20 minutes without dying.
Do NOT focus on combo attacks when faced with multiple enemies, in fact I barely even used the combos. I don't know what others call it, but if you've played the game as much as you said you have, then I'm sure you know that most(if not all) enemies, after 6 successful hits in a row(not combo), will fall to their back after the 6th hit.
Here's what you do to successfully pull off a 6 hit combo:
1) Let's say the enemy's red side is directly in front of you(A button position). Attack from any of the white sides, and a green side will appear for you. Make sure Griffin lands 2 initial hits on the SAME white side.
2) A green side will now appear, land 2 more consecutive hits on this side before switching your attention for the last 2. This is very important, do NOT jump to a different side before you land your 3rd and 4th hit, the green reticle will change sides after your 3rd hit, I'm aware of this.
3) The last green side will appear, land your last 2 hits on the enemy on that side, and he will fall to his back. When this happens, back up and set up your next attack, and also reposition the camera. The camera angle is very vital to avoiding the red sides.
One more thing, make sure you're using the power attacks. The only problem I've had with the power attacks however, is that attacking from the front gives the opponent enough time to regain control and knock you down before you can initiate the attack.

The method I used to get this was if you think you're going to die, pause the game (before you die) and quit. Then hit continue game in the main menu and try again. For some levels it actually restarts you at a check point instead of the beginning of the level. If you do die, pause the game before it reloads and turn off you're Xbox immediately. Then load it back up and try again.
From the road map. Use that method and boss tips and you won't have to do multiple playthroughs anymore.
This game is so mother fucking stupid. There was NO save point for me after I beat sam jackson. So, after I got killed by the final boss, guess who got to start all the way back from Egypt 2? This guy.
Whoever said COD 2 is easier is 100% correct. I would love to punch whoever put this on the easy 1000 list right in the junk. This game is such a fucking fail, I feel like a failure for having even played it.
