Ryu moves by himself?

Anybody have this problem? It seems every time I stop running Ryu starts walking by himself and it's annoying because it's messed me up many times and i've tried all 4 of my controllers and nothing so if anyone knows how to fix it it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yup, here too, but so far , it wasnt a real problem(just a little annoying).I really think it might be the controllers,because i noticed that in another game too(GTA4).I also tried both of my pads and it still slightly moved Ryu(or Nico) once in a while.We probably have to live with it and readjust from time to time.I will try later on with a little oil to make the stick smoother.If that dont help , i open the controller and clean it from the inside.Did that with my old Xbox pad (same problem) and it helped back then.I tell u later if it worked.

Its the left joy stick iv notice the eite controllers that come with an elite had a problem were the stick doesnt come back to the center its a little stuck happened to me also playing on my old controller everything is fine .... if that cleaning works post back maybe a guide on how to open these damn thing's could be posted as I'd love to clean mine get that fixed.

happend with my elite controller.

I've got the same issue with my elite controller.


GTA IV only did it while on the internet, but NG2 actually affects the movement.

yeah fellas, its probably your controllers....same things happened to me twice with mine, really noticed it in DMC4 and COD4....gets annoying, so youre better off just picking up a new controller

yeah it happens sometimes with my halo 3 edition controller as well but not often enough to be a huge issue.

mine as well with the halo controller but i got one of those blue controllers for my birthday and seems to be better

Luckily the controller I'm using doesn't have that problem . My wireless controller that came with my 360 has that problem and it sucks really bad.
( I'm using a wired Microsoft controller)

Had a problem with my black controller (I bought it seperately last fall) along the first level. A few times he just started moving, even from a stopped position.

OK,finally i found some time to clean it.It works alright now,no problem.What i did was simply cleaned the left stick from the outside(moved it alround and dusted it off),then I took a tiny bit of oil (WD40,you get it all alround the world) an a piece of cloth and wiped alround the stick again.Now move the stick to spred the oil a bit.Repeat it till you have the result you want.Dont take too much and dont use grease.Hope that helps.

This happened to me also, Ryu moves to left sometimes. I got the basic white controller. I cleaned it minute ago and found a curly hair in there :P, i hope it works now. (dont ask how it got there i have no idea)

Got the same problem, mostly on 3'rd person view games, Not on FPS's games for sum reason :S
