Passport Guide

There are two different answers here to the question "If I do level select, do I have to finish the level for the passport to get counted?"

I missed the 7th one for mission 2 ("7.Shortly after no.6, you go out and open a gate and fight three guys. As you walk further you will see a truck driving on the left which is behind a fence, to your right there is a car next to which is a big ship, in front of the car, on the front left of the ship is the passport.") and would rather not play the whole level again.

Yeah, wth??

anyway, i missed a passport on level 4 and went back on level select to pick it up and i quit.

when i go back on level select and go to mission 4, i press start when it's loaded and it says 10/10 passports so i guess it registered.

i know i got the achievements for each levels but i hope i'll get the one at the end for all passports...

The green double door only opens after a little while. Or is this the purpose of "go in the middle"

Haven't found a direct answer to this question by reading the posts, but can you collect the passports from the "replay level" menu? And also can you quit out once you've found the last one/gotten achievement for level and still count toward the achievement for getting every one in the game?

yes long as it check points

Actually, once you have gotten it, you can quit out right away. No need to wait to get to a checkpoint.

I know the post is old, but thank god you posted that because this dude's guide isn't helping. Someone (probably you) mention that IGN has a guide, but I had no luck in finding it for myself.
And I'm not the only person who had trouble with the following passport. I can't believe a majority of people said this guide was helpful.

Thanks for leaving out the detailed information that you had to wait for the enemies to fucking open it and that it's inside the plaza. On my first time searching for it, I immediately did what the guide said, no shooting enemies either, I saw a green door locked. I saw a mini stage near it with steps attached to it, thinking that's what you meant by "stairs", regardless there was nothing and I was getting shot the hell up.

Second try going through it with the IGN guide...

Also it helped that they have pictures too.

I usually held my tongue about these types of things, and I'm not trying to sound like a bad guy. But because I care too much, I'm saying this for future references to others that they're better off with the IGN guide for this one.
Because until this site's guide for this game gets a touch up, I don't believe this is 100% helpful guide at all.
