Krenn Posted May 26, 2008 Share Posted May 26, 2008 In case anyone is wondering the order of games and rules, here is a quick guide to the tour mode: Shootout in the West - San Diego (4 games) AFC West (Raiders, Chiefs, Broncos, Chargers) Timed game, 1:30 minutes per half Player receives ball first Beast of the East - New York, NY (4 games) AFC East (Bills, Dolphins, Jets, Patriots) First to 24 wins Player receives ball first Mouth of the South - New Orleans, LA (4 games) NFC South (Buccaneers, Falcons, Panthers, Saints) Timed game, 1:30 minutes per half Opponent is spotted 7 points Player receives ball first Shootout in the West 2 - San Francisco, CA (5 games) NFC West (Cardinals, 49ers, Rams, Seahawks) Timed game, 3:00 minutes per half 20 yard first downs Passing plays only Player receives ball first All-Star West As above, but with 30 yard first downs Defense of the North - Pittsburgh, PA (4 games) AFC North (Browns, Bengals, Ravens, Steelers) Both players start with 25; first to 0 loses Scores, turnovers, and sacks reduce opponent's score (scores also increase own score) Player receives ball first Beast of the East 2 - Dallas, TX (5 games) NFC East (Redskins, Giants, Cowboys, Eagles) First to 40 wins Opponent receives ball first 20-yard first downs All-Star East First to 16 wins Opponent receives ball first 30-yard first downs Defense of the North 2 - Chicago, IL (5 games) NFC North (Lions, Vikings, Packers, Bears) First to zero loses Both teams start with 30 points Scoring is unusual: Touchdown: +3 for team, -3 to opponent 5 yard XP: +0 for team, -1 to opponent 10 yard XP, Safety, or Defensive XP: +1 for team, -1 to opponent Sack: +1 for team, -2 to opponent Turnover: +2 for team, -2 to opponent All-Star North As above, but with no positive points: Scoring is -1/-2/-6 to opponent Sacks are -3 to opponent Turnovers are -4 to opponent 40-yard first downs Mouth of the South 2 - Miami, FL (5 games) AFC South (Texans, Titans, Jaguars, Colts) First with a 14-point lead wins Opponent is spotted 7 points Player receives ball first All-Star South As above, but opponent receives ball first Best of the Best - Washington, DC (3 games) All-Star NFC Timed game, 5 minutes per half Make It, Take It! Player receives ball first All-Star AFC First to 24 wins Make It, Take It! 20-yard first downs Player receives ball first All-Star NFL First to 99 wins (must win by 7) Fantasy scoring (points for special moves, sacks, turnovers, and scoring) Make It, Take It! Opponent receives ball first Note: This list counts 39 games: 32 teams, plus four regional all-star games, and the three final games.
