not bad considering I didn't have a clue what I was missing for the last 2.5% thought it was a stranger... I'd missed the last 10 Most Wanted missions!!

It took me 16h:01m to complete the game. I'm still working on getting 100% on this game but I don't think I will ever finish it.

I used taxi and skipped the trip all the time. I skipped many cutscenes as well, (usually I watched them, failed the mission and after reloading I didn't watch them again)
Did some heli-tours, dating, and kept all the friends over 90%
Even some odd achievement fit in the time like wheelie, cub3d, darts, and bowling.
So if you don't mess too much around, and use taxies and reload if you fail, you can do it without rushing the game.

So it is no problem to watch the cutscenes as long as you don't fail the missions to often and drive with the taxi?
I have all achievements except the multiplayer ones and Liberty City Minute and 500k$ Achievement. But I think I will get it when I go for this...

Yep, but if you fail just reload the last save.
How could you get all the cheevos but not the 500k one? How you could finish the game and get the 'You Won' one without having 500k?

Ok so I'm stuck on the mission "The master and the molotov". I saved in the middle of the mission after killing Faustin. Now Dimitri won't call me. I started killing time waiting for him to call me, and ended up doing Brucie missions and Little Jacob missions. Dimitri still hasn't called me. I have the choice to continue from after about 7 hours, hoping Dimitri will call, or I can reload my save back to four hours to see if Dimitri will call. I don't really want to do this though since I did a few missions and earned a lot of cash. If I started from Master and the Molotov at 7 hours, would I still easily get the Liberty City Minute while watching cutscenes?

I think you could still do it possibly, just don't waste more time and try taking a taxi to your missions and don't do other stuff.
That being said it seems like your kinda behind so make sure you don't fail any of the missions a lot and maybe look up some of the missions so you know what your dealing with

I decided I will probably get this in a 2nd playthrough b/c I was running out of time b/c I kept failing certain missions so I'm just going to play this again and now I'm just trying to do Little Jacobs side stuff and use the police computer and get all the pidgeons and stuff. Then I will play this again skipping most of the cut scenes and just play through the missions and hopefully I will get this

Yeah, gotta start a new game. Once you've beaten it once, beating it again under the time limit is easy, just run through the missions as fast as you can and take taxi's everywhere, skipping the ride.

ok first off i just saw this as am looking to max out the game i did this on the 9/5/08 a long time ago but i did 91.5% in 25hrs and 79hr to 100 but thats cos i lost my flying rats and had to star all over and it was easyer 2ed time as noing what to do will help

1 save and reload all the time - saves alot of cash and ammo
2 get a taxi or if your in the U.S.A get a cab pmsl
3 skip the all videos and that should be you
4 this should help you do it in about 14 - 21hr
6 go play a game of gears of war 3 now

If you stick to the story missions you will get this achievement no problem. All side missions, races, most wanted quests, etc can be done after you finish the main story and unlock your achievement.
