Any tips for flying the helicopter? For some reason, everyone else seems to go a lot faster than me. Also, which is the fastest one?

Hey guys, easy on Khaos. He's doing his best to put up information and he specifically said to post if you have better ways to do things or if something isn't correct. This guide is just a start and it's obviously a work in progress.

There's a method in another post for the triple strike, try that if you are having problems. Actually I think someone quoted it above.

with the random characters. can you finish the main story line then get them or are they a 1 time only and if you miss them you cant get 100%?


in other words. if i blast through the single player can i still get 100% or do i need to do other things while doing single player?

yeah i wanna know the same, but i think if u missed the ranodm characters u cant get 100%, therefore u have to start a new game again, thats what i did today, im still waiting for a proper map or something where/when/how to met the ranodm characters, that seems to be the hardest achievement imo

A great tip for the 3 Strikes in a Row (Bowling) which always works, is the following:

- Choose a Half-Time or a Full-Time Game, it doesn't matter.
- Get ya ass to the left (first) lane.
- Wait till Niko gets the ball in his hands.
- Hold the left stick to the left, till Niko does 2 whole steps to the left.
- Press "A" to get into shooting position.
- Push the Right Stick down for 1 second, then push it up.
- You will score a Strike every time!
- (Optional) Get a whole bloody game striked, just to feel like a bowling king!

Beat the High Score in QUB3D. 15
QUB3D is a machine that can be found all round the island. There is one in first strip club as you go in the front door on the left. There is also one in the same bar as the first pool hall you enter. (See "Pool Shark") The high score is a little over 100,000, but the achievement will not unlock until after you lose. Once you hit 110,000 points, you should be safe to just keep holding Down and lose.



I could be wrong but to get the high score dont u only need to get 11,000? Not 110000 because on the high score leaderboards the highest guy is only at 10,950. Please correct me if im wrong though.

As much as it seems the achievements in this game are going to take me a seriously long time to get, it doesn't even matter. I'm just having fun exploring the world and casuing trouble.

That is correct, you only need about 11,000. I stumbled onto a trick that makes this very easy. When the group of 2 cubes comes down and one of the colors doesn't fit with what you're working on you can kill one of the cubes. This helps to keep your grid from being filled with random crap. Just line up the color you do want in the proper row and at the last moment flip the unwanted cube so it's above all the others and it will just pop out of existence. I'm not sure I explained very well but I hope this helps someone.

The absolutely simplest way to get the "One Man Army" achievement is to get in the chopper, fly under a bridge to an island you have not yet unlocked = ******, then just fly around for 5 mins until your achievement unlocks.

Note: Helicopter is available at the bottom right of the large middle island in an area called "Fishmarket South".

Another easy way to get 6* 5 minute achievement is to go to the north island (the one at the start of the game [no need to unlock]) then go to the shore

enter the cheat:
9385550100

this unlocks the jet boat... then just attempt to go to another island, and the keep going north into endless water. took me... well, 5 minutes haha

A counter is performed in a fist fight by pressing when your opponent attacks you. Complete 10 of those within 4 minutes. They can all be done against the same opponent, just don't attack them after the counter, and they should live long enough to survive 10 of them. If they don't, quickly run up to someone else and punch them to engage them in melee combat.

I think someone already mentioned that you have to hit the green button first then red, yellow or blue. It would also be good to mention that not everyone has the same fighting skills. A drunk bum will telegraph his punch and be much easier to counter than a gangster or something. Bums are also good sparring partners for this because you can find them in isolated places where the police won't see you and get in the way.

Happiness Island or Colony Island? Happiness Island fits your description, but is not off the 1st island as he asked....

It helps to use names man, everyone who plays this game has a full map with the names of all the minor islands...... which is it? Cause even I'm lost
