ONCE YOU HAVE DEFEATED SOMEONE THEY WILL HAVE A STAR NEXT TO THEIR NAME INDICATING THAT YOU HAVE WON AGAINST THEM. The Dural achievement will not unlock unless the difficulty is set at normal, but the other settings such as round time, life gauge, number of rounds can be adjusted to your benefit.

I have a question...

Ive not been on this game in a good few weeks, so I popped it in today to try rank up. It wouldnt let me load my saved game, it said it was corrupted or damaged. How is this? I dont think Ive done anything for this to happen - Does this happen during inactivity? Surley not.
I was pretty high ranked aswell, around 8th dan I think. I dont want to start from 10th kyu and rank up, it takes ages, also, I had a lot of items. I seriously dont want to win games and stuff just to get them back.

If I do need to start from scratch, does anyone know ANY easy ways to get ANY of the achievements? Right now Im at 90g on this game (Just got it for christmas) and would like to increase that.

Just a thought, but maybe your save isn't lost: some of my saves - oblivion, crackdown -, sometimes show up as corrupted because the game's live update has been erased from the Hard drive because I haven't played the game for weeks. Boot the game while you're connected to xboxlive, maybe it will download the patch again, thus restoring your file's status.

On the other hand, you can get from 10th kyu to 8th dan in a couple hours on normal difficulty. Stay away from the "elite" arcades and you should be fine. The Ai doesn't offer much resistance until you reach the warrior rank. If you want the 1000pts, that's a minor setback in the grand scheme of things.

Thanks - Also, see the tourniments, can I enter them by winning agains low ranks when Im still a dan? Like...I duno what one I just beat as its been a whille, but Im sure its thr 4th or 5th one. Can I just carry on winning and enter the other tournaments or do I need to enter and win the higher up ones for them to show up?

I assume you mean the official tournaments, not the arcade -specific ones. They appear as you rank up, meaning you can make the first ones appear by beating low-ranked guys, as long as you don't forget to rank up yourself, but you'll have to move to better arcades when you're like 10th dan or something.

I'm not 100% sure about this, but it seemed to me that I needed to rank up 5 times before an official tournament appeared, but I kinda lost track of this once I became warrior.

BTW, according to the gameclock, it took me 12 hours to reach the conqueror rank, 10 more hours in order to unlock all the items, and i guess it's gonna be 10 more hours to get the quest trifecta achievement. Thanks to the recent update, unbeaten enemies seem to show up more often, though.

I am only warrior but there would be no way i would start again this game...its like those game such as DOAX2 or Rumble Rose that are not "that hard" but just time consuming, and to having a hight GS on it you must play hundreds of hours. Honestly i think quest mode is kind of boring...certainly it offer hours of play wich could seem good, but personally i got the 100 hour of play achievement on DOA even if the game have only arcade/survival/vs/time attack. 100H is a very decent time for a game like that. So that kind of annoy me to have to play countless boring hours in quest to unlock stuff. I don't know how much hours i have played but i have like 190 wins or so for 13 loss and so far i have been playing on the same arcade(exept when there tournaments) and i have only beat 53% of that arcade(the easy one)

Yes, the achievement says you have to beat normal mode arcade with all characters. This doesn't mean the difficulty has to be normal, it can be done on very easy aswell. There are 2 types of arcade, it's normal mode and time attack!

Hey guys! I haven't posted on here in months and I just updated the one achievement. For some reason I was thinking about VF5 and I remembered that I made a revamped guide! lol
Anyway, to TeD12345Parry, I actually have 1,000 Gamerscore for this on my offline account, so before you go looking at my profile because your some weird stalker, ask questions and don't assume because you look like an ass.
AND YES! You can set it to easy and STILL unlock the achievement, thats why I worded it the way I did.

Nice clear guide. Thanks for clearing up the part about the "All Items" achievement. I have beaten everybody in all the arcades and couldn't figure out where I was missing the few pieces of clothing. Turns out all those arcade tournaments I was avoiding like the plague is where I had my last items.
