Problem Fixed for PFC Achievement

Wait i don't understand u just go to extras and quit. NEED AN EXPLANATION!!!!!

I got this game yesterday im a specialist so it doesn't matter 2 me if i erase my rank.

please if anybody believes this clown iz a clown im an elite yeaaa and i tryed it for the hell of it and it doesnt work and i did what u said to a t soooo somebody erase this clown post.

Look at the achievements for both "black240sxcoupe" and "kiwi". Especially black240, he has the officer and the elite achievement before his private first class achievement.

So obviously there is SOME legitimacy to this, I just tried every thing I could to re-create it and have no luck either.

Hey guys,

Like many others, i have had the same problem with not getting the Private First Class achievement due to getting elite/realistic in Vegas 1 (you know the story)...

Anyway i tried the above method mentioned in this thread to no joy. The reason i think it didn't work for me is because i already created an account and downloaded the streets map already.

To cut a long story short, I stumbled across another method which works (it did for me). I was a colonel and wanted the PFC before getting elite.

Try the following method for yourself, good luck:


RESETING YOUR RANK IN R6V2! (at your own risk).

1. Start up your 360, but do not sign into any accounts/gamertags.
2. Load up Vegas 2.
3. Press start at the main menu.

4. Now at this point the Character Creation screen will pop up with a message saying you will not be able to save because you're not signed in etc. Press A and then B to cancel back to the main menu.

5. Press your guide button and sign into your desired account/gamertag. As soon as it has signed in, press the guide button to close the dashboard blade and then press start directly after (quickly).

6. This will take you back to the character creation screen with the same message about not being able to save. The only difference is, you're signed into your account/gamertag you wanted reseting. Then all you have to do is select your gender, face options and hit accept. Job done.

Your method worked like a charm. I just tried it, it took about a minute to figure out the log in/out stuff, but once I got it down I was able to sign in really fast with out it loading my profile. Got the achievement after playing a few rounds of T-Hunt by my self.

ok I went into extras to check it out and see what it was about. Now this is while i was already a private 2nd class. Then i looked around for a bit. I DIDNT SIGN IN WITH A UBISOFT ACCOUNT. then i quit after like 3-5 minutes and then it made me start a new person and new rank.

No worries guys, glad it worked for you both.... as long as people don't mind their rank being reset then its guaranteed to work. You just got to be quick enough after taking the guide away once you signed in to pressing start.

By the way any progress you have with for example, 100 kills with such and such weapon will stay at the progress you had before you reset.

Cool, finallly someone explains this in detail. Well this is actually a different rank reset method but anyway... Thanks Crucible5 for providing this info. I'm deep into my rank right now so I'm not going to reset till I make it to Elite, since I'm currently a 2LT (6 ranks from Elite).

Also, nice that it saves your killcounts and stuff. Definately cool cause I do not trust Ubisoft to provide a satisfactory PFC patch. Maybe they will but I doubt it'll be thorough enough to unlock the achievement for every single person that should have got it.

What I did to reset my rank was I went to the exclusive content and when I backed out I signed in out of two profiles while it was loading. When it was about to load to the main menu I made sure I was signing into my account and when I hit start it asked me to pick male/female.
