razzleson
Alright, first I want to say I do not take credit for this. I scoured the net for a good couple hours and found traces of this here and there. Now, for what's going on. I was stuck at 98.78% I had done everything except all the errands. So, all I had to do was find some errands right? Wrong, I walked from one side of the map to the other for around three hours. I tried getting busted, getting knocked out, standing still, nothing spawned any kind of errand. Then I tried something new. I knew where the errands were, so I went to the nearest save, saved, then exited to dashboard (Guide then Y) Once In dashboard I loaded up Bully, loaded up my save, then went to the area where the errand was supposed to be. BAM! There it was! This has worked for the last four errands I've done. One I had to reload twice, but it still worked. Another thing I want to add, I'm not sure if it was just me, but when I loaded, all I did was run to the spot. No skateboard, no bikes, no switching weapons, just running straight to where I needed to be. Now, I'm not sure if this is just working for me for some crazy reason, so if you're stuck waiting for errands to spawn, try this and get back to me. Darth Heyburt
Razzle... I posted this in another thread about 30 hours ago ( not in as much detail though) , I thought I was the first person to notice it!
SengIV
This really needs to be added to the FAQ. I will also add this to the Errand Thread.
madelk
I think you may of saved me a lot of time, I'm at 99.61% and I'm sure I just need a few errands that give clothes (perhaps night missions also) but none were spawning. I've tried this trick once and it's worked once, so I'm saying this has a 100% chance of success

Jimi84
crap....didn't work for me. Trying to get the Jimmy the Detective one to pop up and it won't for some reason.

ezekiel 08
Wow, I'm so glad I found this. I was just about to go Errand hunting and I'm really glad to have read this! Can you just reload you save? It's a pain going to the dashboard each time. I'll test that out and post back here ^_^. **EDIT: Yeah, just loading up your game works too, and is allot quicker. Worked for the "Carnival Photo" errand. Been trying to get that one for a while now. And does anyone know where the Retirement Home is? I wish there was a map with all the buildings labeled, it took me ages to find the Boxing Gym :-(. **EDIT_2: Found it 0_o. It's house number 18 in Old Bullworth Vale, it's the really big place. When you enter you count as "trespassing" as a crime.
Tonic24k
Yes, you can just pause it and do a quick load from that menu. It has been working for me anyway. Another thing i would like to mention that may just be luck or random success is that when i would save at different locations and load that game up...it seemed to prompt certain errands. for example i saved in the nerd hideout and then loaded, walked out and instantly had to give that bum money (errand), and immediately after THAT the guy with the lost dog ran up to me before the errand complete text even faded out. I think in some instances other variations work too though...just try everything like saving in one location and then traveling to an errand on the other side of the map...or even trying certain errands at different times of the day (not necessarily night and day but maybe like during class hours and so on)...that seemed to have worked on some that wouldn't show up too. Also, just cruizing by the locations doesn't always work. A lot of the ones i got i went to the place they come up at and just stood there for a while, idle, and they would just pop up out of the blue. I'm now trying to get the 50th one to come up and it won't. Also, has anyone else associated the game freezing when doing these? My game never froze at all playing this through until now while I am looking for these errands. It seems maybe the game freezes when it tries to initiate the errand. 4th time now doing it...once when going for the escort errand in new coventry, some other random time, and twice while standing by the old theatre in bullworth town trying to get the lost jacket one. arachnophilia
i also think it's mor likely to throw a bunch of errands at you if you're at 99%. i know errands starting coming out of the woodwork at 99% for me, when i couldn't find a single one before. Blind x360a
How do you know where the errands are?
drno
I used a guide on GameFaqs which went extremely in-depth about the errands system and how to reset it and such here is an excerpt from it. First of all, there is no set number of Errands which you have to do to get 100%. It seems to change from person to person, but generally speaking after doing everything else in the game, you will be maybe 0.3% away from 100%, or around that. So you make up the rest of it by doing any of the 50 errands which you haven't completed, each of which are worth 0.04%. So, then comes the problem. Up till around Chapter 2 or 3, you should have absolutely no problem finding errands. They appear as small blue cross on your mini map, and to accept them from people you simply press LT + A. ... simple ... But no! It can never be simple. Once you get a bit further in the game, generally around Chapter 3 you will probably find that Errands COMPLETELY stop showing up, and no-one knows why. Anyway, the basic technique for getting them to show up again is to save and restart your console as many times as it takes to get them to appear again. I've done a fair bit of experimenting with this and it usually only takes one or two restarts to get them to show up, and they will continue to show up until you start a mission, change clothes, get busted, or anything like that, unless you're lucky. Also, if you load during the daytime errands then they seem to stop appearing around 6pm but the night time errands do not start appearing. So, to get night time errands to appear, you'll have to save and reload AT NIGHT. Capiche? As you can tell the errands are totally wiggy... How do you know where the errands are? There are a few guides that should tell you the location of any and all errands in the game. For the most part there are enough errands that cruising around the city should have a few pop up until you get to the last couple of errands. icytower38
Could never get the Lost Jacket errand to show, no matter what I did .
impmeister
The errand where you have to bust the bent cop by the motel to get the cognito hat ? i think, anyway it wouldn't show up so what I did was change into school uniform, saved, went to the dashboard, loaded it up again and the errand was there! so try changing into your school uniform if you can't find any
flyghboy
Could never get the Lost Jacket errand to show, no matter what I did . I'm having the same issue. Lost Jacket refuses to show up. Restarted multiple times and no luck.
flyghboy
Come to think of it. I can't even get Algie to show at the school or hideout or anywhere else. I'm currently in Chapter 3. Nor can I get the two New Coventry bike races to spawn (not talking about the one that opens in Ch 5, but the 2 before that). This is getting annoying. ChipSpudskin
FYI, this worked for me too but, I only had to save in the area and didn't need to reboot for the missions to appear! Saves some time!
AlmightyTallest
I'm definitely going to give this a shot. I'm somewhere between 98.5%-99% IIRC, and i'm going insane trying to figure out wth it is i haven't done yet. I've heard ppl mention go-kart races so i'll give those a shot and then i'll go errand hunting. Thanks much in advance if this gets me my final achievement.
