PS3 Good Deals thread
So Ladies and Gentleman, have you discovered any good deals on your travels across the World Wide Web, or even in local stores? Please share.
I'll start off. Not sure if its just a local shop or not, but in England, theres a place called Discz. Their currently selling F1: Championship Edition brand new for £25, definitely worth purchasing in my opinion.

I got my PS3 from HMV and It was an amazing deal. I got 40gb PS3, Uncharted drakes fortune, Resistance fall of man, Spiderman 3 blu-ray, Casino royale blu-ray, an Hdmi cable and £60 blu-ray vouchers - cost £349.99
 What an amazing deal, they have been doing it since christmas but its cheaper in store which is kinda strange.

I don't know if it applies to all Toys R Us branches, but they are doing a few Blu-Rays on the cheap.
I managed to pick up Layer Cake for £9.99 in the Thurrock Lakeside store today. They also had Blood Diamond and Superman Returns for the same price. Fantastic Four was £14.99 and I think they had Black Hawk Down for between £10-15.

Anyone here in the U.K got a Gamestation near them? Mine are selling Fantastic Four on Blu Ray for only £5! Apparently they sold it with all their PS3 bundle deals and loads of people have watched it then traded it back in, so their trying to get rid of all the copies.

Is that the first one or the second one ?
I was near a Gamestation today and didn't go in there for once ! Wish I has now though. Not a 'fantastic' film, but it's a good showcase of what can be done with Blu-Ray.

Hey, I know i probably shouldn't be asking this in here but does anyone know of any good US deals on a PS3. I'm looking for a new version with Spider man 3 dvd, i'm getting it over summer so not for 1-2 months but i wanted to start scouting now.
The best i found was the PS3 bundle at blockbuster or the 100 Blu-Ray gift card at wal mart

Are they not going to do a bundle for the MGS4 in the gunmetal grey/silver ?
You could get that one. I'm sure a few shops will chuck in a Blu-Ray in their bundles as well... Spider-Man 3 is very cheap now so you could get that very cheapy outside a bundle deal.

Just was on Amazon, and they have Rainbow 6 Vegas Limited Edition on their lightning deal. Price was 69.99us, sale price 29.99us.
They have HD deals all week, I saw some blu rays real cheap, some as much as 50% off. Alot of the titles are not new releases, still not a bad way to up the blu ray collection. |
