Contact Sega For updated 1000 points for Condemned

Here is a link to contact Sega for an update for an 1000 score in Condemned. If we get enough people they might provide a patch.

Here is what I wrote:

Hi, I loved the game Condemned for the Xbox 360, but I am disappointed that the game only had an achievement score of 970 instead of the normal 1000. Could you possibly install a patch that would allow 1000? Maybe you could do an achievement where if you bought Condemned 2 and have Condemned it would unlock. Or an achievement that if you scored all 970 points a 30 point achievement would unlock.

I personally like having games with scores higher/lower than 1000. If the game is complete then why stress the fact that it's not like the rest of your completed games. Variety isn't a bad thing guys.

I'm about to start this game up next week and I fired a request off today. It'd be awesome if there's a full 1000 points for this eventually.

EDIT: I recieved a reply to my message from 'Edward' who said that there were no plans for a patch for Condemned and its missing 30 achievement points. Bummer.

I was upset about the whole 970 achievement limit. I am sending a letter off to them also. BTW it is one of the best/recomended games I have played besides Bioshock, HL2 Series, and Resident Evil Series.

Please give us the total 1000 for Condemned, it was a great game, but it only had 970 achievement points. The new achievement number has risen (Orange Box had 99) so please provide a patch!!

I don't hold out much hope, though, as the game is 2 1/2 years old and largely a "dead" project for Sega, especially with the recently released sequel. Also, if I understand current MS rules on extra content, anything that they do release would have to be free of charge, since the game shipped w/ less than 1000 total GS points.

So essentially, we're asking a multinational corporation to go back to work on an old project, spend time developing new content, and not charge us for it.

I suppose stranger things have happened. Here's hoping.

970 is such an off number, especially since most games are 1000/1250. since this was a launch title i highly doubt we'll see a update for 30 more point since there isnt one now. Good luck trying to get the dev team to make an extra 30 points

You know what bugs me? Someone who loved the game and was disappointed that there wasn't a full 1000 GS for it (as was I), was simply asking for a show of support... and yet the douche-bags who don't care HAVE to come in here and spew their poison. STFU!

Sega isn't going to update the game. I know this. I wish they would, but it is extremely unlikely. If someone wants to take a crack at such an attempt (to get the game updated)... let 'em do it. It's no skin off your nose. No one gives a damn if YOU are satisfied with the 970 points. If someone else wants to dream... let 'em!

Personally... I think it was a HUGE mistake to not have an achievement for completing the game on the HARDEST difficulty (without changing the difficulty) for that 30 points. I've played the game through 3 times, but not yet on the hardest setting. I would LOVE to be rewarded 30 points for doing that (as long as they didn't expect me to do it without dying - I'd be asking for 130 points for that)!
