You have to download it to get the all skills for xxx achievments?
99.9% sure you don't need. I'm basing this on how achievements work on the games, there have been other titles with situations just like that and the extra download doesn't cout. Also I already read people state it doesn't count, but I can't confirm yet (I just started disk 2 )
this may sound like a really dumb question and i am sorry, how do i learn skills from accessories, i have a few accessories that have the 3 starts on them and i have not learned anything, thanks for the help in advance
I don't know what you mean by starts (stars? what stars?) but here is the rundown:
You equip the accessory on one of your immortals.
That immortal will gain SP per battle, which builds towards learning the skill.
You can view how much SP is need by going to the "Status" screen and looking at the right hand side where the skills you are currently learning are displayed.
Once you have gained the necessary SP to learn the skill, you can take the item off and equip the skill by going to the "Skills" menu and selecting "Set."
Did you go to the Skills menu and Set Anti-Paralyze on one of your immortals?
One you learn the skill, you have to equip it in the Skills menu of that character.
Ok I have special accessory but im not sure what or how to use it.
Obviously it works in conjunction with other accessories, which ones and how does that work differently from what we do now please? Yall also mentioned the royal equipment - is that the name of a specic accessory or the title of a group of items such as the royal weapons and ring thing?
Sorry if Im being vague or unclear - im going to put it down to being middle aged old woman whos been up literally 5 days straight playing this game - thank god i fall asleep in the chair whilst im playing eh!!!! ROFL ROFL
The Royal Accessories skill nees to be equipped if you want to use "Royal" accessories or weapons. You'll know which ones are royal because in the description at the bottom of the screen it said "Tolten Only." Items that need this that I can think of off the top of my head are the Age of Kings (sword), and the Quad Elements Charm.
The Special Accessories item work the same way. It will say in the description that it requires the Special Accessories skill. The Anereid Feather is one.
Thanks appreciate you explaining.
I do get it and ive seen some of the royal stuff but have yet to find anything that says it needs the other but who knows maybe soon eh
...i have a few accessories that have the 3 starts on them...
I know this is kinda pointless now, but I think the 3 stars he's talking about is; if an immortal is equipping an item they already have learned the skill for (most common is The Yellow band/anti paralysis) the item appears to have 3 little white stars over the icon whenever you equip it to that immortal (or in some cases, that mortal, for ones like "ability to use Level 3 Black magic" or some such.)
For learning the skills I greatly encourage learning the multi-accesory skills first. When enabled you can learn up to 4 skills at once instead of just one accesory and the skill link.
When exactly do you get the Sage Earrings? They give you Black-White Magic Level 7. I already have Black-White Magic Level 8 so I can't imagine they are in Grand Staff part 2.
There is nothing to bid on at the auction house. The guide on here for accessors says it's in Grand Staff, mechanical lift (lowest level). I remember going to Grand Staff on Disc 2 I think but that seems like too advanced of an accessory to be on disc 2.
Any help would be appreciated. I only need the Lord Earring which is in Grand Staff 2 and the Sage Earrings and I got them all.
Thanks.

On Disk 2 you go to Experimental Staff which is a different building (err... staff). I guess the guide means it's in the Grand Staff you visit at the end of Disk 4 (I haven't been yet so if it's not the end forgive me, im doing backyard and treasure hunting at the moment).
Thanks for trying to help. I ended up just continuing with the game and the Sage Earrings ended up being in the second visit to Grand Staff at the end of the game. Actually, I missed it there and picked it up in the auction house but the point is I got it.
Then I went on to beat the game! Great ending! 980/1000 damn that Treasure Trove!
Thanks!

Stupid question - Where do I get the skill to see the enemies' health? I just made it to the 3rd disc, so I probably missed picking it up. Is there anywhere that I can buy it from?
