Welcome to the second yearly achievement awards and this time it’s back and bigger than ever. A few changes from last year; due to Microsoft clamping down on the trading of gamesaves, we thought it would be a fitting tribute to lose that category altogether. Fear not folks, this year we have two brand new PREMIUM categories. Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you...

Worst Achievement List of the Year

As usual, the same rules apply. A game list only qualifies if we had it on our site between the 1st November 2006 and 31st October 2007, so before anyone says anything... Avatar does not qualify. The votes came in their tens of thousands this year and the voting was close in many categories.

We’ll start with the “Easiest” categories, then move to the “Hardest” before finishing up on the premium categories that only the best and worst will win. So, let’s not dilly dally anymore and get on with the awards. Enjoy!

Im glad CoD3 took home the titles, for longest achievement and hardest shooter, I was really backing for them to win.

Edit: Oh there is a couple of typo errors in the most time consuming award, you said the general rank was 50,000 points but its 40,000 points and you have credited infinity award where it should be Treyarch.

Hey that's some nice work. I totally agree about EA. I played 2 EA games and both of them have achievements which done make sense like challenge the EA moderator. Someone should ban them from making achievements.

I only have one complaint. How could Rayman's achievements not beat gh3. No-one has nor will ever 1000 Rayman and its not even as enjoyable as GH3's are. So what if there pretty hard you can get most with time.

I did discuss that... And I can't control the masses

By nearly 4-1 vote, people went with Guitar Hero over Rayman I do believe.

It's the peoples vote, nothing to do with Webby.
Plus, more people have played Guitar Hero 3 which therefore makes them more familiar with the hard achievement list.

Thats the problem... Raymans are harder, but GH3's are more familiar, and therefore will get more votes. Overall though, fantastic awards, very well organised and put together Webb.
Oh by the way, congrats to the graphics team, all the pictures look so awesome!

First of all, congrats to the graphics team with the awesome pics. I agree with EA being the worst company for achievements. I've played a couple of there games and their achievements don't come clos to Microsoft's achievements.

Great Work guys, The hardest Arcade 200 was up for grabs, it was anyones game in teh category.

Great job to everyone that pulled this together! Everything looks very professionally done. I can imagine a day when game makers actually consult these awards for advice on making the achievement lists for future games.

Just cause you've got the 1000? Having to put in 80+ hours to achieve the full 1000, I would call that tough myself; I couldn't and wouldn't do it!

A lot of people wouldn't do it, I only have 2 achievements, and haven't picked it up since...
